Stayed there for 3 nights on a business trip to Kyoto. Rooms are very small, and takes some time to get used to it. if you have a large suitcase it will be a struggle to manouvre around it in the room. It was a battle to maintain the room temperature. Location is good, around 10 minutes walk from the... More

Stayed with my family, the location is fantastic for access to Kyoto Station. We lucked out getting a larger room with standard small Japanese bathroom. Comfortable beds, nice and warm and surprising quiet despite it's location. Other rooms were much smaller and pokey. Downside was the dismal breakfast of cold Western food (bacon and eggs) with very little variety. We... More

Positives: clean and tidy, very quiet despite being so close to the station, room size was surprisingly large for of a station hotel in Japan (though still small in global terms, no wardrobe in our room). We booked 2 twin rooms, one for our kids and one for ourselves, their room was distinctively more spacious than ours (if you get... More

Apart from the location which is 10 minutes walk from Kyoto station. The hotel is old. The room is small the size of normal hotel room in Japan but its smell of cigarette was unbearable. I couldn't sleep the first night. I'd not go there again and wouldn't recommend anybody

Hotel located one block from the Kyoto station, which is the beating heart of the city. Room was extremely small, like all APA hotels, but also worn off - this hotel needs a refurbishment to reach average Japanese standards.

Stayed in their semi-double room, the room size is typical small but the amenities provided are way above average. The room is clean and the WiFi signal is outstanding. Furthermore, the staff is friendly and location is very good. Walking distance to subway, railway station, convenient stores, shopping centres, restaurants and even Kyoto tower itself.

its near central station but it was not so expensive. Room was bit tiny. so if you are tall, it could be uncomfortable.

My family loved this hotel. We took two rooms and while the rooms were very small, the size was typical and absolutely in line with other value hotels we have experienced in Japan. I had booked online and check-in was fast and easy. Reception staff were efficient and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable; the room air conditioning worked... More

Location of the hotel is great! Just a few minutes' walk from Kyoto Station, a hub for trains and buses. There's a Mcdonald's, Starbucks and a convenience store nearby. Seattle's Best coffee at the lobby of the hotel, where you can have a cup of coffee or tea after a day's worth of sightseeing and just relax, appreciate the view... More

This hotel was within walking distance of the train station, which was a huge plus!!!! Yes, the rooms are tiny, but it was expected! The staff was really friendly and it was also within walking distance to nearby restaurants and bars!
