The hotel located just 200-300 meters away from Kobe station, very convenient. We are able to walk to Harbourland, Kobe Port Tower and other attractions from the hotel. There is a 7-11 at the ground floor to purchase water and snacks. Room is clean and comfortable, and size is decent compare to other hotels in Japan. Furnishing may be a... More

If you are bigger than average size person with big luggage bags then the standard room might be too small for you. Nontheless the room have basic amenities for a pleasant stay. Very strategically located near Kobe station there is even an under ground shopping area where you can walk from the hotel to the train station. Very helpful counter... More

Down in Kobe for work, stayed in room 605. Staff were friendly & the hotel is close to Kobe station. ¥8000/night is a rip off considering the tatty state of the room. The bathroom had been refitted but the quality of workmanship is very poor & the tiny toilet is crammed into a corner. Most full size adults will need... More

I have stayed in many business hotels, and the Chisun gets high marks for location, convenience and value. I was dismayed with the cigarette-smelling room, and obvious cigarette-tinged carpet. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, with ample seating and attentive staff. There is an air of efficiency throughout the hotel.

The JR rail and subway are connected through an underground pathway. There are stores and restaurant in the pathway, so it is safe to walk in it. Life supermarket is a block away from the hotel. There are washer and dryer in the hotel but the dryer does not dry the clothes. The room and the bathroom are really small.

Due to accommodation problems, we ended up here rather than in Kyoto. The rooms are tiny! I was a single person in a "double" room but there was only enough room for me! If there are 2 people with large cases, it would be a real squeeze. Also the bathroom is tiny with very little room. The bathrooms are also... More

This was such a convenient stay, close to all the major JR Rail line & Subways, taxis, buses etc, shopping centres and Harbour. Very convenient and right across the road from a temple which was beautiful. Beds were a little bit small but only because we are quite tall, and pillows we slightly uncomfortable but we got used to them... More

We had only been able to reserve a smoking room, and got it changed upon arrival. However, we felt the place had a slight lingering smokey small. The room was very roomy, we got two beds. A modular bath with all the technology. It overlooked a temple, where we had a peaceful stroll the next morning. Breakfast was 1100 yen.... More

Clean, but tiny room with an even tinier ensuit. Geared to the Japanese visitor. Hardly any English spoken. Close to Kobe Station. Close to walk to Harbourland for dinner. The rooms are just too small for my liking. The pillows were shocking. I would not stay again. In hindsight I would choose to stay near Shin- Osaka Station for convenience... More
