I had stayed at this hotel with some collegues. It's definitely a beautful classic western style interious and building in a great prime location. At the same time, it is a bit scary and cold feeling from the stone walls and dark interior. more

The hotel staff is friendly, polite and helpful - high Japanese standards of customer service apply here without exception. There is always someone at the reception who speaks English. Our room with a double bed was large by Japanese standards, with a separate dressing area and relatively spacious bathroom. We were provided with all of the usual amenities (yukata and slippers, soap, shampoo, toothbrush and paste, combs, etc.).
