http://www.kobe-orientalhotel.co.jp/english/ Stayed for two nights on 17-19 May 2015 in this amazing hotel. This is the last and the best hotel from my 7-days tour with 26 people. The hotel is very large and stunning from inside and outside. Restaurants and shops available nearby the hotel. Very good service and hospitality from the hotel personnel. I stayed in room 849... First time in Kobe and have chosen this hotel as landmark here. We have stay for 2 nights facing Kobe Port Tower in Standard Double Room at 9th floor. As we were out for Himeji-castle and Anpanman Children's Museum for entire 2 days, we had have missed the complimentary pool club access. Good: 1) free shuttle bus between hotel and... More

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The room had the most wonderful view across the harbour which really made our stay. The room was pleasant and had a balcony. The bed was a little hard, which was a surprise. The bar, though having a beautiful view, had a cover charge which made it very expensive. We had a... More

The view from our 13th floor room at Kobe Meriken Park Oriental was just stunning, from the Kobe Port Tower to the left right across the city skyline to the Ohashi Bridge to the right. The hotel's location couldn't be better, it juts out into Kobe Harbour like a great cruise ship, and the interior atrium of the hotel gives... More

The Kobe Oriental is a wonderful hotel. It has creative architecture, is located conveniently in Kobe near industry and some tourist areas, and has a top-notch breakfast buffet (Santa Monica). My room (1306) had 2 sets of sliding doors out onto a huge balcony that faced two directions over the bay- so I could enjoy the sights of Kobe, and... More

The hotel is located in the bay area kobe. Has beautiful scenery around the bay. The rooms are luxurious and have a very good service, including Japanese-style hospitality they have shown. From this hotel, we could walk to the beautiful beach of Kobe.

Got a great offer for this hotel on booking.com. North facing room with a direct view of Kobe Tower. Was really looking forward to that and it didn't disappoint, especially since I was keen on photographing Kobe Port after dark. Room was spacious too, and full of various amenities. The hotel facilities and floors had a classy, European touch, such... More

We had the 'sort of' pleasure of staying at the Meriken for 4 nights last week. Let's start with the good: Location: the location is really good. Within walking distance from Umie and Mosaic, and with regular shuttles to Sannomiya, its tough to beat the convenience. Views: With rooms opening out onto open balconies, the views of the harbour, the... More

This hotel is build right after the earthquake in 1995, and I guess at that time it was one of the finest hotels in the region. Since then, I don't think they've done much. We really got the feeling of travelling back to the 90th, from the reception to the rooms to the sky bar. That said, it has a... More

First time to Kobe and I chose this hotel. The room was soooo great and comfortable. The night view from my room was so stunning! The hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful, no question about it. My little bit concern was the location. It is pretty far from central Kobe, like Sannomiya and Shin-Kobe. But I think for that... More
