The location of this hotel is perfect. The herb gardens and the cable cars are on one side, Shin-Kobe station on the other, and the subway is under the hotel. Within one stop you can reach the city center and most of the attractions. I found this very convenient and I enjoyed my trip tanks to this great location.

Stayed there for a night room was small but comfortable and bathroom was really small. Gym was a bit outdated and could use with an upgrade. Great location and lobby was grand and nice. I would stay there again if I visited Kobe in the future. Staff are friendly but did not speak much English.

Location: perfect - right above subway station and across protected walkway from Shinkobe. One subway stop from Sannomiya. We traveled in by the Shinkobe from Osaka, so it was great to be able to walk only a very short distance with all our stuff, especially with baby in tow. Rooms: good size, definitely very old but kept clean. Complaint: the... More

This was my last stop after a 12-day stay in Japan. After staying at ryokans, it was nice to sleep in a western bed! Very handy - Situated next to Shin-Kobe train station. Modern and clean. Restaurants in the same building so no need to eat at the hotel. Great place to use as a base for travelling to other... More

For those visiting Kobe as tourists this hotel is the perfect location with fabulous views over the city, bay and mountains plus its location couldn't be bettered for transport links. Next door is ShinKobe Shinkansen and subway stations as well as a bus stop for the Kobe city loop bus tour. The hotel staff provide guidance and advice (yes in... More

My wife, 2 year old, 10 month old and myself stayed here for 7 nights over the Easter week recently. We had originally wanted to stay in Kyoto for the cherry blossom, but the prices in Kyoto were prohibitive, so we elected instead to stay here, knowing it was located very close to the Shinkansen, which would afford quick and... I stayed here with my daughter for three nights. The convenience to the shinkansen was my priority in booking this hotel and I was not disappointed. We took the shinkansen from Kyoto, and then also to Shin Osaka and back, with a final return to Tokyo. It is ideal for short trips on shinkansen, with 2-4 trains per hour that... More

This hotel will be an excellent choice for your visit to Kobe. The Shinkansen station can be reached via an underground passage from the hotel - no need to go outside if it's raining! There are a number of independent restaurants in the shopping plaza that make up the first three floors of the hotel complex to accommodate all tastes... More

Great location right next door to the Shin-Kobe Shinkansen station with easy access to the subway to Sannomiya and central Kobe. Just walk out of the main doors of the station, across the walkway, up one floor and your in the reception. A rather impersonal service at check-in and no offer to take our bags to the room - that's... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Ana Crowne. Great location right next next to JR station and the hotel lift takes you straight down to the subway. Rooms are decent size and so are the toilets. Unfortunately our bidet didn't work. We loved having English TV and caught up with the news on CNN. The breakfast buffet was the best... More
