Expensive luxury hotel where you have to pay separately for accessing the hotel pool and even for the pool towels. Breakfast was also not up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. Location is good if you want to be close to the sea, but for the city center you have to use the hotel shuttle.

Stayed at the Okura in Kobe, it's not cheap for 120 USD per night, rooms are basic and service is also pretty basic, room was not clean, bathroom is small, room also smelled pretty bad, would not stay there again... There are far better hotels in Kobe to stay at for better value for money, location and service with a... More

This is a very good hotel with a large area. It overlooks the harbor and the rooms provide a wonderful view. The staff is also very corteous and we had a wonderful time during our 2 night stay here. The hotel runs a shuttle service to the city center Sannumiya where you can go for shopping. You can also explore... More

I stayed here with the family for two nights and we visited the nearby Ampanman museum one day and Universal Studios in Osaka the other day. We came on a Sunday so the hotel had a free shuttle bus from the Shinkansen station which was very convenient. The next day when we went to Osaka we took the shuttle buss... More

Very good location! Romantic place! Rooms are clean and staffs are very helpful. Breakfast is excellent ! While going to the hotel on foot from mosaic square, it takes a lot time than you expect!!! And it is very tiring to reach the main entrance even hotel is located on the Main Street;)

Best location. Very nice view from the room. Staffs were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. This hotel will be our first choice when we go to Kobe again. the Only problem was finding the entrance of the hotel. It was a little difficult to find the main entrance of the hotel even if it was located on the main street, when... More

I stayed two nights here, the hotel is super convenient, has a free shuttle bus to the main station, staff is super friendly and always asked me to carry my bag (I'm not yet used to that) the room recently has been renovated and everything seems brand new very comfortable. The Lobby area is a bit in an older style... More

Spent 5 nights here, great location, close to Harbourtown and Chinatown. Great views, staff very good. Breakfast excellant! So what was wrong? Having a swim or using the gym was $21 a visit! There was huge residual smoke smell throughout, but the room air purifiers kept on top of it.

As you roll into the massive driveway of this hotel, you are reminded of the decadence of the 70s where East met West in more 'modern' times. The hotel itself sits by the pier of Kobe, and boasts beautiful views of the ocean and the city depending on your room. The night lights of Harborland and the Kobe port tower... More

Almost everything about the hotel is superb: Location -- quiet location in center of Kobe, with 3 shuttle buses per hour to and from Sannomiya, main train/shopping/entertainment city center Facilities -- very comfortable room, excellent bed, toilet with air wash and dry jetlet, electric curtains, morning newspaper delivered in plastic folder Staff -- ultra polite front desk, telephone, restaurant, and...
