We stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions during our stay - before and after we visited Tokyo and although it wasn't as modern as the other hotel we stayed in, it was more than suitable and still very comfortable. No problem with the size of the room, it was adequate and more than expected for a hotel in Japan.... More

We stayed at five different hotels while in Japan and by far this was the worst one especially for the price. Bathroom looked like it came right out of an RV trailer with no electricity. Room was very small and very stuffy. Had two rooms for four people and we had to sleep together (2) in the same small double... More

The hotel is located in a cluster of streets that come alive only at night and offers great accessibility to food, shopping and transport. Although bustling at night, we still felt safe walking back and the good soundproofing ensures that we would not be disturbed at night. The room we stayed in was in a visibly used condition with the... More

Japanese hotel rooms are quite cramped small yet most of them are neat and tidy, a remarkable attribute of the Japanese who are perhaps the world's best proponents of minimalism. This is my first time to try a Japanese Hotel and here is my verdict if this hotel: UPSIDE 1. The location is good which is right smack in the... More

This hotel is located next to an entertainment area which is pedestrian only at night. Access is poor due to this and it took us a while before locating it. We stayed in a 4 person room which was quite large but as it was spring, the aircon was not activated and we had to open the windows. The noise... More

After only paying a total of 15,000yen for 6 people I was not overly optimistic about my expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Staff were attentive and patient to our large group. Amenities were plentiful. The room was very spacious by Japanese standards, and we were also given a welcome drink and a choice of two pillows. The location is very... More

I have stayed at this hotel on 2 different trips now and have found it to be excellent value for money and very comfortable. We paid 7000 yen for a twin room, the room was big enough, bathroom fine, beds comfy and the room nice and dark, had one of the best nights sleep of my trip here. Desk staff... More

First the Good: the double bed room was large by Japanese standards. Other than that nice feature, the hotel was poor. The Bathroom had black mould growing, even in places that could be easily disinfected. The staff seemed distracted much of the time. They forgot to give us the welcome cocktail ticket for the bar, and by the time I... More

This was one of the most expensive hotels we booked on our trip. The hotel has an incredibly dark and dingy atmosphere and my partner commented that it feels like a set from a murder movie. The hotel hasn't been updated in many years. The bed had all broken apart at the bottom so you could see the wooden frame.... More
