Booked through Rakuten and selected the "Gourmet Plan” (Main Building Deluxe Special Japanese Style Room Upper Floor), stayed in the “Ezosumire” room which has the onsen in the bathroom. We went to the Information Centre and asked the staff to help called up the hotel to pick us up from there. The hotel's counter staff are polite (as always) but... More

Stayed as a couple December 2013. We had the unfortunate experience of being misled by the hotel's English website. I am not certain if something was lost in translation, but we thought we were booking one of the rooms the site advertises in English (there are only a few). The website features a wide range of plans and only provides... More

first ever stay at Japanese onsen and I absolutely enjoyed the experience. We initially spent some time walking around Arima before checking in. the staff that pick us up from the train station spoke relatively good English and were ever so polite. The rooms were super clean, with a massage chair as well. went for the open air and enclosed... More

I like the half broad food! It is amazing! And I like the onsen, also the private hot spring place! The room is big, and there is a massage chair. But some wood's sound from the roof broken my sleep.

My first ever Japanese onsen and a hard time deciding among the various onsens at Arima (especially if you are new to it and don't read Japanese). But I absolutely enjoyed the experience. We initially spent some time walking around Arima before checking in. As we were unfamiliar with the place and language, we eventually requested the tourist agency (5... More

My first time visit japanese onsen was real relaxation. The service was great , all staffs were very helpful. The japanese styled room was newer than expected. The stay plan including dinner and breakfast provided wonderful food experience. There are 2 onsen rooms for guests to use in the morning and the evening but not quite big. Wish I can... More
