Absolutely tiniest room ever and matching bathroom. It felt old and tatty and in need of refurbishment. The location is good, near the tram stop and walking distance from the train station. There is wifi only at reception.

The location is very nice and the staff/breakfast were wonderful. The room size was good, but the hotel smelled of smoke and had lots of (clearly my opinion) scary decorations that were an attempt to make it seem European. If you are curious what a haunted hotel looks like... you may get an idea. They also play music in the... More

This was an ideal hotel for a 1-night stop. A 10 minute walk or 3 minute tram ride from the Station. Located right on the tram network, so the Peace Park was only minutes away, or a 30 minute walk. A 15-20 minute walk along the river to the Contemporary Art Museum. Main shopping and restaurant area about 15 minute... More

Whilst most hotels offer non-smoking and smoking rooms, I couldn't escape the smell of cigarette smoke in this hotel. Room was comfortable and larger than most Japanese hotel rooms with slightly more comfortable beds, however window overlooked another building undergoing construction. There was free coffee offered downstairs in the evening and Wi-Fi was only available downstairs in foyer not in... More

great value for money (7500 JPY per night) convenient location, very clean, minimum service but the location is convenient, right in the center of Hiroshima, within walking distance of the main station. Highly recommended.

Our family spent 2 nights at this hotel. It was clean, tidy and had friendly, helpful staff. It was a great location for us to explore this beautiful city.

This is a very nice hotel, it has a certain atmosfeer. If you like the twenties last centery you must feel at home. Downstairs tere is a coffee machine, so you can take your cup to your room. If you not like coffee, you can make tea in your room. There going different tramways to the hotel, the stop is... More

This hotel was just recently refurbished. however, the building is still old and the rooms still use a key to get in (but we dont mind at all!). Dont let its look dissapoints you as the staff were very friendly and welcoming, we could even check in as early as 1 PM, which most hotels in Japan dont usually do!... More

Quick review so you can skim, 1. Staff speak english decently. 2. Breakfast is not included, 900 yen for all you can eat buffet, pretty good but expensive, and not many choices 3. Elevator is horrible, moves very slow, and doors close almost instantly. 4. The towels are like sandpaper. 5. The plumbing is horrendous as others have stated, you... More

We had a great stay in Hiroshima and enjoyed our 2 nights in the Intelligent Hotel Annex. This was our first exposure to the Japanese business-style hotels and we felt this was a reasonably good hotel for tourists visiting Hiroshima. We loved the name, by the way, and ended up here after trying the enticingly named Active Hotel and the... More
