Typically big hotel but well located for sightseeing and the restaurant / bar scene! The rooms were clean, staff was attentive. We didn't have breakfast there but it would have been possible for 8 USD or so.

The main feature of the hotel was that it had a rather small room with a simply enormous bed. The bed must have been seven feet wide in a room that would have been quite crowded with a five feet wide bed. It was really a little silly. The hotel was comfortable and quiet but had little to make you... More

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We were given a lovely welcome by the lady on reception when we arrived late on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Our room was great, small but bigger than some of the other places we've stayed in. Shower was powerful and hot and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones we've had... More

The hotel is really nice and clean. A few steeps from the Memorial garden and the city center. A perfect place to stay. Friendly staff and good wifi. If you are traveling with a JR pass, at the station you can take for free the sightseeing red bus, choose the green route and go out at the Okonomi-Mura stop.

The hotel is located just a few hundred meters from the Peace Memorial Park, which means that much of interest is within walking distance. We booked a non-smoking two bed room with one extra bed, and the room was totally filled with beds. We had to have our suitcases on the desk and chair to be able to move around.... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel in Hiroshima. It was comfortable, clean with helpful staff. The location was the real bonus - close to the major sites and to excellent shopping. Also enjoyed the bonus of having classic American cars dismayed outside by their toys owners on Saturday afternoon.

I was enjoying a single room by myself and had more than enough space. Besides a comfortable bed, a big TV and a quiet night in a clean room, I put use to the great location. Within minutes I could reach the Peace Memorial Museum and Park by foot, as well the Hiroshima Castle. It is around 30 minutes to... More

Nice hotel with very small rooms. Not much space around the bed. Nice and clean with nice lobby. Nice view from 22nd floor. Ok breakfast. Would have been nice with more than one type of bread for breakfast.

My sister and I shared a twin room on the 12th floor . It was quiet with a lovely view and big enough for us to spread out . The staff were ever helpful and the position excellent. The special treat was a delicious breakfast on the 25th floor with amazing views a super way to start the day.

Mitsui Garden Hotel is a Japanese chain of hotels in line with a Hilton or another American chain of that caliber. The location in Hiroshima is a very nice building. The room in typical style of hotels in Japan is small in comparison to North American hotels. But bigger than other places I stayed in Japan. The room was nicely... More
