We chose Hotel Flex because of the excellent rates and relatively good reviews. We were not disappointed. Its a very easy 10 minute walk from the main train station in Hiroshima. The hotel is a few minutes' walk away from the shinkansen station. You can easily find it in the tourist maps handed out at the station or by crossing the bridge in front of the station exit. Location is great as it is close to the train station and the tram stop. Regular rooms are small. The hotel is stylish from outside but inside it needs a renovation. Breakfast is overprized as you can get better deals nearby. Try to get a room to the front as you can overlook the river. more

Highly recommended hotel for couples and business travelers. Seems newly renovated and has all the high-tech amenities that you would expect from a Japanese hotel. A short walk from Hiroshima station, Hotel FLEX offered us a stylish, modern room in a river-side location. Twin room had ample space, and a European-sized bathtub!
