Good room with a Great modern bathroom with Onsen style shower/bath set up. Helpful staff. Hotel is 6/7 tram stops from main station. Good location for Shukkei-en Garden (2 tram stops away) and the high-end shops and restaurants are on the doorstep.

Newly renovated, great location, good service, definitely stay here again. Brilliant location right in the heart of everything, star bucks, Irish pub, supermarket. 5 min walk to street car, if your looking to do some fashion shopping this is your area. If your coming in by JR train catch a street car from train station to hatchobori street car 10min...6... More

I absolutely adored this hotel. It was clean, well appointed, excellent location, right in the centre of town (halfway between the a-bomb dome and the station, right in the major shopping strip) secure, and the staff were lovely. Following a tip on here I asked for a room on the top floor, and the views were pretty damn impressive. It... More

A perfect and convenient base to explore Hiroshima. The staff were friendly and always ready to answer our queries. We needed assistance to purchase some tickets for a local sporting event and they printed out the information for us and gave us a thorough explanation to the best of their knowledge. We were satisfied with the room that we got... More

Really luxurious hotel right in the city centre of Hiroshima. The hotel is really beautiful and has top notch facilities. It lies in the city centre on a busy shopping street but don't worry the windows cancel all the noise from the street. It is close to the shops and sights in the city.

Comfortable hotel, though the room size is smaller the international hotels. Convenient to be surrounded by food, and quite central with Street Car (Tram), and Sightseeing loop bus just around the corner. It is within walking distance to some tourists sites, for those who likes leisurely walks. Else, buy the 1 day sightseeing bus ticket to hop on and off.... More

First time in HIroshima; located just around the corner from good shops and food stalls. Typical sized bedroom for Japan; bathrooms were a decent size - toilet and sink in one room, and a shower / tub in that was nearly double the size of the toilet/sink area. Clean, compact and are definitely planning to stay again.

Location of this hotel is great, quick tram ride from the station, ten minute walk to the atomic bomb dome and museum, very close to the the main shopping and dining areas (two minute walk or less). The hotel is very new and super clean. The room was small but had everything we needed. The bathroom was great! It had... More

Just spent three nights at Hotel Washington.. overall a positive experience although there are some negatives.Firstly location - excellent, right downtown amongst the shops, bars and restaurants and much better situated than those hotels close to th e Peace Park where there is little else to do. Easy access to hotel. from JRStation with lots of trams the free JRLoopbus... More

The hotel is one block from the famous Hondori Street. If you walk it, and it'll take 10 minutes, you'll arrive at the Genbaku Dome (Atomic peace memorial) at the Ota river. You can also get the ferry right there at the Aioi Bridge and head over to Miyajima Island, one of the most famous places in Japan. It's a... More
