We had 2 rooms at this hotel which were decent sized and comfortable for 2 nights. Location is great just across the river from the peace Museum and memorial and just a block from the main street with the electric tramway ( not that we used it). For 4 of us it was easier to get a taxi. The main... More

This hotel felt like sleeping in a cigarette box in both size and smell (even though we were on a 'non-smoking' floor). Outdated interior and the toilet flush sounded like a small jet taking off. Bed and pillow were like rocks. Location was only plus. On the river and in walking distance to a lot of major attractions. A good... More

I needed to book an extra night in Hiroshima and this hotel had availability and was a good price. Overall the decor was dated and tired, but still clean for a night. I would consider it a 2 star. The location is nice being right across from the Peace Park. There is a nice breakfast on the top floor with... More

As with all the Sunroute Hotels around Japan this one is a decent business hotel where to spend a couple of nights when in town. The location (next to peace park and a railway station) is excellent. It offers correct hotel rooms (small according to western standards) at a reasonable price. The bathroom can be a small if you are... More

We stayed here for a couple nights and it was great. The room was amazing and the location even better. The views were stunning! The room was large and we had asked for a non-smoking room, didn't smell of smoke at all! Staff very friendly and helpful. Also free food guide with coupons for free drinks and discounts. So that's... More

Great value hotel, with excellent location right next to the Peace Park/Atomic Dome, and ferry to Miyajima. Hotel staff was very diligent in giving helpful information on arrival. Our only reservation was that our non-smoking room smelled slightly of smoke. We came too late in the evening to bother doing anything about it.

This hotel is in a fabulous location looking out over the river towards the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Museum. The room size (comparatively) was huge and the free wifi was excellent. There was often a cab waiting out the front if you need one, although most major tourist attractions are within a short walk. I would highly recommend... More

This hotel was booked for me by my previous hotel (in Kyoto) - it was not a recommendation but one they found for my budget. The lady who booked it made sure she got all of the details, and I'm glad she did. When I arrived - the hotel was easy to get get to. Jump on tram (they are... More

The property is at a great location, across from the peace memorial park. We booked online and requested a non smoking room. The room was quite big for Japanese standards. Even though the whole hotel smelt of cigarettes, we managed a proper nights sleep as we kept the window open. The room was overlooking the river and we could also... More

Everywhere smells like smoke and ashtrays (even the entire smoke-free floors). If you're even a little bit sensitive, asthmatic or allergic - don't stay here. Cleaning is awful - lots of dust, big stains and dirty bathroom. Service is good but the staff barely knows any English. Really old furniture and the hotel was decorated in the 80s.
