Great Value Sunday Night, booked in advance for just under 5000 yen including breakfast. 10 min walk to station. Was given an end single room, very quiet and comfortable bed. One one pillow. Breakfast had local Hiroshima style okonomiyaki which was a nice extra.

It was a typical small japanese hotel room. It was clean and minimalist. The bed was up against the wall and a little on the stiff side. They have free wireless internet. The staff spoke english and were very pleasant. They held our bags for us after we checked out, so we could sightseeing before we left the city.

This is a high-rise business hotel, just across the river from Hiroshima central station in the direction of the castle, peace park and city centre. It is about 8 minutes walk from the station, probably double that to the city centre. Our room was comfortable with a good double bed - fairly small, but then this is Japan. Facilities very... More

We had only booked one night (Friday) in Hiroshima to visit the Peace Park, but decided to stay another night so we could visit Miyajima. This was the only hotel available on the Saturday night. For us it was close to the mail rail line which was great. Had a room with a view of the river (nicer at high... More

Stayed here for a night. The room was comfortable and a little bigger than the usual business hotels in Japan. The breakfast spread is a decent one which includes both western and Japanese options. This place is a good 10min walk from the station and those who want to be able to sightsee, should consider other options. There was a... More

Hotel for Japan was quite good. Was not too close to downtown but right along the river and close to mass transit locations. Food choices around the hotel were also very good. Hotel staff was friendly although many new little to no English. Breakfast offered both western and Japanese style food. Hotel was quite and the rooms were small but... More

My husband and I (older folks) stayed here for four nights being in town for a couple family events. The reception staff were very hospitable and kind. We ate one dinner here and it was pretty good. (We were the only ones in the dining room). The waiter was nice but wasn't able to answer some of our questions (My... More

This is a business hotel, smaller than some of the mammoth hotels we stayed in elsewhere in Japan, and with one single restaurant. JAL City is a chain, and we were expecting something of a budget fee to this stayl, but were pleasantly surprised. The rooms themselves were clean, modern and smart, and not a bad size for Japanese hotels.... More
