The location is convenient, but I got lost in Hiroshima station every time I went through it, so try to remember your route to the hotel and stick to it! Hotel lobby is clean, bright, busy. Helpful staff who speak basic English. Room was basic, but seemed fairly clean. Carpet is very dark which always makes me question how clean... More

The Granvia (owned by JR West) is newly renovated and very good value in terms of quality and location. Front desk employees are helpful and service around the hotel is of a high standard, as you would expect. The (European) breakfast was average, but acceptable. Rooms are smallish but well equipped including free LAN internet. The beds are comfortable and... More

We paid a flying visit to Hiroshima (1 night) in July 2010 and stayed in the Granvia hote. The hotel lobby is huge and really nice and the staff very helpful (we got very detailed and helpful instructions on how to get to the sites). The was perhaps a little small for the price paid (and since we got a... More

We spent two nights at the Granvia Hiroshima, and while we were generally happy with our stay – having a pleasant sleep and an enjoyable time - the hotel was not entirely without its quirks. Among the most positive aspects of this hotel is the location: right on top of the train station, with the lobby virtually connected to the... More

This is a regular business hotel. But the best thing about this hotel is the location. Imagine getting off the Shinkansen (or any other train that you might be taking) at the JR Hiroshima Station and then just wheeling your luggage down the platform and into the hotel lobby. Absolutely no stress with regards to waiting for your taxi /... More

The hotel is in a great location right at the train station, and it was very clean and inviting. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I was with my mother and 2 year old there. My daughter ended up hitting her face really hard against a table, and I had to rush her to the doctor. The hotel called... More

This hotel is in a terrific location just next to the train station but this does not mean that they keep you awake of a night. While the room was a little on the small side it was very clean and very modern. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We would be more than happy to stay there again.

Walked straight out of the station into this hotel. Was promptly checked in by the staff who spoke great English and was helped with our luggage to a fabulous room at the top of the hotel. Yes the room was small but the view from that far up was spectacular. We looked right over the train station and you could... More

This was a dandy hotel. Walked from the train station into the lobby. That was nice since February is very cold! Nice big lobby, room were large and modern. The window opened a tiny bit which was a delight for a Japanese hotel. The bathroom was very modern with high-end fixtures and plenty of elbow room - another feature hard... More
