The hotel is just a few blocks away from Hiroshima Station. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was very cozy and comfortable. Quite spacious for a couple with a nice view of the river and mountains.

Walk from JR Hiroshima station 2-3 minutes. easy access to everything. They can hold baggage if you arrive early and put it in your room. Skip the hotel restaurant, but great local places everywhere.. My only real negative;A/C controlled centrally. Rooms horribly HOT! Desk could not help.

The hotel is quite nice. We had a good spacious room. It is centrally located and close to the train station. Breakfast is good. There is more choice in Japanese food than in Western breakfast though. We also had diner in the hotel but that was not so special and the dining hall does not have a lot of atmosphere.... More

Good hotel, quite smart and clean. Five minutes walk from the railway station. 7/11 store just across the road. Easy tram ride to Dome and Peace Park. One of the bigger rooms we stayed in whilst in Japan, but that is not really saying much. Intermittent wifi in room. Location is the selling point of this place

we lucked out as we got a very large double room with a sofa (although it had rather a lot of debris from previous guests down the back including empty sweet packets and antacid tablets!) Our kids had a smaller twin room - usually the twin rooms are bigger than the doubles in the hotels we stay in. Bit odd... More

Get off the train (or Shinkansen) and walk to the station exit where the trams are, turn right and walk five minutes to the hotel. Great staff, easy location. 160 yen will get a tram ride straight to the Peace Park/A Dome area or huge shopping arcades. Or the Fukaya shopping centre is near the station. Yes the dining rooms... The hotel is a five minute walk from the tram terminal on the south side of Hiroshima train station. Getting to and from the station at the start and finish of your stay is easy. Additionally getting to the tram terminal is easy. This will give you great access to transport all around Hiroshima, Miyajima and beyond. The hotel is... More

We booked a small non smoking room for a couple the night before we arrived. It was small by Australian standards. We aren't tall or big so it didn't matter to us. The hotel is very clean and staff helpful. It was between $75 and $100 a night. We stayed for 3 nights. It's a 5 minute walk to the... More

We stayed 2 nights at the New Hiroden as a base to explore Mijamiya Island and visit the attractions of Hiroshima. The location was very convenient for us as it was close to the Hiroshima Station and we could walk to the hotel from the Station. We had a twin room, it was very clean and quite large as were... The hotel mostly frequented by tourists and caters to them appropriately. 5 minute walk from the train station with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Clean and decent sized rooms., Comfortable beds and decent air conditioning. Free high speed wireless Internet. Breakfast buffet is decent. Not the best, but better than most tourist hotels. No safe or safety deposit box... More
