I spent one night at this hotel as a part of a two day package to Hiroshima and I wasn't disappointed. The location is virtually on top of the Atomic Bomb memorial site. In fact I could look down and see the Atomic Bomb dome from my window, about 400 metres from the hotel. For me this was perfect because... More

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities. The staff were very helpful with tourist information and forwarding luggage. We had a spectacular view over Hiroshima castle. We had to pay extra to use the swimming pool which was clean and well maintained. Our wifi didn't work well.

We stayed at the RIHGA hotel this summer. The lobby exudes a level of grandeur that does not trickle through to any other area in the hotel. The rooms are adequate, a bit tired in part if I'm honest, the breakfasts were okay. What really surprised us was that we were asked to pay to use the swimming pool. Our... More

This is an excellent hotel but very expensive if you don't get a special deal which we did. The views from the rooms are magnificent and our room was large and quiet. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to assist us meeting our local friend. You can easily walk to the very moving Peace Park... More

Impressive hotel - views from our rooms of Hiroshima Castle were excellent. Pretty good access from Hiroshima Train station using JR train then Astram Line. Breakfast buffet was extensive and excellent. Adjoining shopping center with plenty of restaurants. Walking distance (underground mostly) to Hiroshima Peace Garden. Access to Miyajima Island also easy via Astram Line and JR train then JR... More

Expect a classical Japanese high rise hotel, great views, central location, good value and solid service. That being said, it's by no means charming but rather old-fashioned and lacking contemporary decor. It was built in 1991 and it almost feels frozen in time since then. The rooms are indeed very bland. We wouldn't stay there again as we value charm... More

We stayed at the Rhiga Royal Hiroshima as a Family for three days in July 2015. We booked our room through Expedia for a surprisingly low rate and weren't quite sure what to expect. However, it was a pleasant surprice to get our room at the 24th floor (!) with a beautiful view over central Hiroshima with the old Castle.... More

Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the housekeeping & maintenance mad this quite a comfortable stay. It is reportedly Hiroshima's tallest building and adjacent to a 16th Century palace complex, shopping, and a short walk to the Peace Park. A lovely stay.

Really nice, modern hotel in central Hiroshima. Prices were reasonable (with a strong dollar) and breakfast was very good. It's a great location as it is walking distance to all the main areas in the city and being tall has fantastic views of the city and the valley. Hotel is really well maintained and the staff were very helpful. My... More

This hotel is central and that is very useful when sightseeing, just look up and you know the way home! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the view from the room was world class. Staff are also very helpful. The only gripe was the cost for the pool....we were looking forward to using it one afternoon, but it was... More
