Chose this hotel online based on a recommendation from friends. Was not disappointed. It is a little bit of a walk from the tramway to the hotel but if you use the underground shopping arcade you can avoid the worst of the heat of a Japanese summer. I entered the hotel through the side entrance, through the adjacent shopping area,... More

Our room looked over the Hiroshima castle and it's grounds. We had a corner room so we also looked out towards the ADome. As we only had one night, the proximity to these two attractions plus the Peace Park and Memorial Museum made this hotel ideal as we could visit all without he need for public transport. The hotel is... More

We stayed in a family room for two nights. 1000 Yen from the train station in a taxi. All services at the Hotel were exemplary. The room had a small fridge and kettle for tea/coffee. Ideally situated for the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. With a JR pass we utilised the sightseeing buses to get bearings and travel to the... More

My sister recommended this hotel to us - it is within 10 minutes walk of the A-bomb dome and peace park, and right across the street from Hiroshima Castle. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. We will stay there again.

We turned up after a long journey on the Shinkansen from Tokyo in t-shirt and shorts, hot and sweaty and were greeted with a very grand entrance hall and lobby, amazing stair case and immediately felt under-dressed. We were made to feel very welcome and felt right at home checking-in ... very friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Stayed on... More

We thought this hotel was great value for money by Japanese standards, excellently situated for the main sights, and with lovely views. The downsides were the corridors and lifts that reeked of cigarette smoke - but the non-smoking room that we had was fine. And access to the swimming pool is VERY expensive.

After initially been put in a smoking room, I was given a beautiful non-smoking room with a magic view of the peace park and Hiroshima looking down to the port. The rooms are large and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. The buffet breakfast ok. Easy to get to on the cable car from the station.

The Rihga Royal in Hiroshima is centrally located and easy to access by tram from the train station (even with a few suitcases). It has an adjoining mall with a variety of restaurants. The staff very kindly upgraded us to a room with an incredible view of the Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome; we could see right out... More

Hotel was very clean and comfortable, although lack of storage for clothes. Good location, close to subway, restaurants and cafes. Shops and Culture all around. Nothing negative worth mentioning. Highly recommended.

The hotel is grand with all modern amenities. It is next to Sogo so that helps in shopping. Also it is walking distance from the Hiroshima peace park which makes it a hotel at an ideal location. The food is also good.
