Only stayed the one night but found it to be all we have come to expect from the Apa chain of Hotel’s. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Great location only five minutes walk from the station and very easy to find, and handy for bus links to the Hiroshima peace park. Rooms may seem small to some western standards but... More

This is a small hotel whit a good location, near the station   small but clean rooms, windows overlooking the river and the city. there are restaurants nearby and the environment in the area is quiet even at night.

A large red Japanese cockroach welcome me in my room, what a great experience! Unfortunately it run away so I could not kill it and had to sleep in the room with the fear of the animal showing up again, perhaps climbing on me...

If you travel to Japan and are looking at hotels pay close attention to the room measurement details provided by each hotel. In this country, and to a lesser extent in Korea, this information is important. (We state this on many of our reviews for Japan). The room was small. If you have no problem with this, this place is... More

We had to find a hotel quick and we found this through my hotels.com on my phone We stayed close to the Hiroshima station. The room was small (U.S standard), but probably is okay by Japanese standards. The staff was very friendly and helped with a few requests. Room was incredibly clean. A little noise from the outside traffic, but... More

As mentioned by another poster, the hotel was within walking distance from the Hiroshima train station. Just find the south gate exit and head towards the Fukuya department store / Amusement & Dining building (you'll see the Pachinko sign). The hotel actually faces the river, which is behind the Amusement & Dining building. Check-in was pretty easy. They gave me... More

We spent only 2 nights in Hiroshima as a stop over to Nagasaki. We had a twin room which was just spacious enough for us and our luggage. Beds ok, reception area on small side. Staff friendly. We ate out for breakfast as not much on offer re western meals. Hiroshima rail station within walking distance.

The APA Hiroshima Ekimae Hotel in is located only a hop, skip and jump away from Hiroshima station and faces one of the streams of the river Ota. It is a great base for exploring Hiroshima, being easy walking distance to the castle and Peace Park. It is also close to the transport hub for those preferring to tram or... More

I spent one night here before a Hiroshima day tour, which meeting point was a pleasent walk from there. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the view is nice from the room, the bed is comfortable , the room is smaller than a stateroom on a cruiseship. You can find more information about this area on my blog. Any... More

I stayed here for only one night, but I've had the best experience ever! 1. The hotel is located very close to the Hiroshima Station. By the next block there is 7-11 (which is also a Willer bus terminal that I used to get to Hiroshima), accross the street is Lawson, post office, and a coffee shop. 2. Beds are... More
