Only stayed one night, but it was very pleasant. There is no bar as such to have a drink at, but they have Beer vending machines in the Reception area. Breakfast restaurant is a bit Eastern, but have a good variety of food, and also a couple of western tables to sit at

It's located just opposite of the JR Sapporo station and Daimaru store. Also, you can walk to main tourism spots in Sapporo within 15-20 minutes (Governor office is 2 blocks away; Odori park, TV tower, Clock tower, Hokkaido university). The room size is ok, can fit 3 people in; the bathroom is pretty big. We are unexpectedly provided free tickets... More

If you want somewhere located centrally in Sapporo, this is a good choice since it is very close to the JR Sapporo station (opposite the south exit in fact), which itself is on the subway network and a direct rail line to New Chitose airport. As is typical of Japan, the station lies at the heart of the shopping and... More

I was there for the Sapporo snow festival. The hotel was quite cheap and near the city center and the Odori park. The room was clean but small. If you want to spend only a couple of days it's a good solution. The staff is kind and helpful.

This was the most last-minutes-booking we have ever made. We arrived in Sapporo station without decision about where to stay, but as soon as we get out the grand South Exit of the station, we saw Gracery Hotel building right in front of us. We have been reading review about hotels around Sapporo station and have lots of doubt about... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. It is situated across JR Sapporo station with an underground link and there is an airport bus stop that is just right outside the hotel. Besides, Daimaru and various shopping malls are just across the road, with many options for food as well. Hotel room is typical, small but clean, adequate and comfortable. Our... More

I think this was called Washington Hotel in the days gone by. Apart from the rather odd sounding new hotel name of "Gracery" which may have originally meant to be "Gracely", it is a wonderful and economical place to stay, so incredibly convenient. The staff at reception was immaculate, the rooms were sufficiently quiet, and house keeping was carried out... More

Situated just across from the JR Sapporo station and shopping areas such as Daimaru, Stella Place, JR Tower, Esta, the hotel has a great location. You can't go hungry with all the food shops and Daimaru food hall around. The hotel is also linked by underground pathways and shops to the Station. You get get to and from the airport... More

You really couldn't ask for a better location than this hotel. It is directly linked to the Sapporo train station through a covered walkway making getting here from the airport really convenient, even for a non Japanese speaking tourist visiting Sapporo for the first time. Even better, we discovered that the airport bus comes right in front of the hotel.... More

Before going into the specifics, I'd like to say that the best decision I've ever made on this trip is to pay for the Gracery hotel breakfast buffet every single morning I was here. This may seem like a trivial comment, but most travellers would like to venture out and sample different food as much as they can, but in... More
