My husband and I were expecting a decent stay at Novotel Sapporo but we were pretty disappointed with what we got. Firstly, the staff at the reception were not able to converse well in English. Given that it is Japan, we did not expect people to speak fluent English. However, the staff from the hotels that we stayed in prior... More

Building is quite old and rooms were do tiny that the 2 single beds were literally stuck next to each other. Usually bottled water is provided but it wasn't. It also was not close to the station as I expected. Probably 10 minute walk and but difficult for us to transport our luggage from station to this hotel especially on... More

View of either the mountains (nice in the morning) or Sapporo TV Tower (nice at night) from the windows depending on the room you get. We stayed in the Standard Double Room and some friends stayed at the Twin Room and both rooms were great. There's a safe in the closet and also Febreeze, which is a nice touch! Free... More

The service here is not Japanese style but Western style. I have stayed here 5 years ago and the room furnishings were much better than it was during my recent visit. The bed was rather uncomfortable. It is just a mattress without a top layer to make it softer. The family room was small. The bedroom area was joined to... More

Our family of 5 squeezed into a twin executive room. Website stated suitable for 3 adults and 2 children. Bedding consisted of 2 king single sized beds, a sofa bed and a rollaway. Would work better for a family of 4. Location next to park with lovely views was appreciated as was the fast and free wifi. Rooms were clean... More

The hotel looks quite nice from the lobby, but the room itself looks a bit old and the carpet has a lot of stains, fortunately the bed was clean n comfy. The staffs were all friendly and helpful, they helped me made a few reservations to couple of the best restaurants in Sapporo. I would not recommend this hotel as... More

Initial impression of the hotel was quite good when we walked into the lobby, but that impression went downhill from there. The front desk staff were cold to the point of almost being rude. The hallway leading to the room was a bit dingy, and the old-style doors made the hotel seem dated. The first thing we noticed when we... More

My story would be not very long. We were staying in this hotel from 25 of September for 10 days. I travelled to Japan for vacation with my family( two small kids 3yo and 10 month , wife and mother in law) we booked two rooms. During check in staff was very helpful And they gave us one room bigger... More

This is a very good property in Sapporo. I always liked staying here as the rooms are big and they face the park. There's a very big bathroom. I'm here in winter and the view is beautiful from the 17th floor. It's 10 mins to Sapporo station and close to susikino park. The service is also fantastic but i was... More

Rather unassuming property that turned out to be such a gem, utterly warm and caring in service attention. What was even more surprising was the two 5-star restaurants - Japanese on 24th, French 25th. Both gave us such gastronomical treats that really swept us off our feet. What a start to our 12-day cruise vacation round Hokkaido. Go Accor; can't... More
