The location is not as good as the other Tokoyo Inn hotel (which is right in Susukino) but i deliberately pick this hotel for the shuttle bus to the train station. I opt for a twin room which means the space is much bigger but when I check into the room, i'm amazed by how much more space is given... More

Though I claim that Toyoko Inns are consistently the same, I would say that this one was nicer in some respects. The room we had was larger than in other Toyoko Inns, there was a small kitchenette area with sink, kettle, fridge, and it was an easy walk to Ramen Alley and the Susukino site of the Snow Festival, amongst... As this property was not originally a Toyoko Inn, the rooms are much more spacious than other Toyoko Inn properties. Other bonus perks includes a public bath / sauna on the first floor as well as massage chairs. However, the public bath is disproportionately small (comfortably accommodating 8?) compared to the number of people the hotel can accommodate, and there... More

It is not originally Toyoko inn's facility. They took over it from other hotel. So the facility is different. They do have a public bath, very unique in Toyoko Inn's group. Good part is the room a little bit bigger than normal Toyoko Inn. But the service is worse than any Toyoko Inn we ever stayed. We were given a... More

At first I was concerned about the location after reading other review. But, I wanted a delux twin room with two full-size beds for the 3 of us, and the advertisement for onsite onsen was a big plus. Our room was large compared with the 5 other Toyoko Inns we have stayed at. Beds were comfortable unlike other Toyoko. Staff... More

The good: the rooms are large - probably the largest you can get in Sapporo for the regular rate. The rooms are also clean. There is a separate little kitchenette area with its own sink where tea can be made. The bad: the service is execrable. It has the nasty, sleaziest staff I have run into yet in my tour... More

Stayed here in Oct. 2012 with my Mom while we were visiting Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Although my Mom stated she had actually wanted to reserve the Susuki no Kousaten one (since that one is more nearer to everything and within a more reasonable walking distance), I personally on the other hand had absolutely no complaints with this particular Toyoko Inn... I intended to book the Toyoko Inn near Sapporo Station but mistakenly booked this instead. Luckily, I was swiftly guided by the hotel staff to the free shuttle bus which took me to the correct hotel. The hotel was slightly off the beaten tracks, so I made good use of the shuttle from then on. The hotel staff spoke reasonably... More

A distance from the main happening place in the city that means some walking will be needed. We faced some glitches when we serve the internet, probably too many people are using it. But the place is a pretty nice place to stay.

... except this one is in a slightly less desirable location in Sapporo, but not by much, it's only slightly off the beaten track. There's not really a lot to say about Toyoko Inns as they are what they are: the best value mid-range option in Japanese cities. So for that alone, they should be praised. The usual standards prevailed... More
