Stayed there with family earlier this month and was impressed on how modern and clean this onsen hotel is. In addition, the staff customer service is great and just like other tripadvisors have said ,"Hotel also provides free Coffee and Tea plus light refreshments from 09:00 to 22:00" at the hotel lobby area. The hotel overlook the Jozankei stream flowing... More

The location was great. We took the bus at 2pm from New Chitose Airport and got off at jinya mae. Thd hotel was just opposite to the bus stop. The staff were friendly and helpful and was prompt in changing the meal time for us. Recommend.

Staffs are very helpful. They will make you feel special. They offer free snack and drinks, waffle with variety of infused honey. For onsen, they will rotate man and woman every day so you have a chance to visit both sites. Noted for onsen's newbies, prepare to be natural naked. my advice is to act like you wearing something, don't... More

The hotel at first sight was impressive and could easily be classified into the top graded categories. The room can be considered spacious by japanese standard. Very customised services and a lot of details. Great food and friendly services. But somehow you would expect a bit more to match up to this high standard. What happened to me has made... More

Our family's last Ryokan/ onsen experience was at Hakone few years back. Our stay at Hakone was 2 times of what we paid at Shogetsu Grand Hotel. For a 10-tatami room with in-room Kaiseki dinner and set breakfast at the restaurant. We paid for 2 adults and 2 kids in a room and all of us get the same portion... More

We stayed at this hotel in May 2014 with my family of six. Hotel was nice and cosy, free flow waffles with choices of honey to go with and coffee to served for hotel guest at 3pm. Yum yum....... Overall, we are very happy with the hotel service with polite staff.

It is a hot spring resort in the small city of Jozanki which is about 1 hour by bus from Sapporo or about 1.5 hours from airport. The bus stop is just on the hotel door step. Check in and check out are fast and efficient. The Japanese style room has no beds. They put sleeping-matt (bed) on the floor... More
