I spent one night at the Art Hotel after a Judas Priest concert and as a special deal with ANA. The room I had was a twin that was shoebox shaped and sectioned nicely into three distinct parts, the entry and bath, the sitting area and the sleeping area. The room also had a nicely designed window seat large enough... More

There is a spacious hot spa in this hotel, including a sauna bath, It is very comfortable. There are two types of pillows which are a soft type and a hard one, I can sleep well as I prefer a hard type pillow. It takes about a few minutes from Nakajima station to this hotel by walk. There is... More

Pros: fantastic Osen (spa) with great waters, tasty breakfast, convenient location, and the fact that it was the LAST pick up spot for bus to Niseko. Also easy to find, easy to get to, just a block and a half from the subway station and reasonably priced thanks to devalued yen. Cons: Typical japanese micro-room. Observations: Don't count on getting... More

Stayed here for 3 nights to visit the Snow Festival. Room large and clean with queen size bed, sitting area, entry hall and bathroom (with bath). Pillows very uncomfortable. Staff friendly but very limited English.Buffet breakfast large but limited western options that did not change over the 3 mornings. Seemed the only option to eat in the evening was in... More

Stayed 02 nights at Art Hotels and we find the rooms spacious. The bathrooms are well provided with big bottles of body wash, hair shampoos, conditioners, hair brushes, tooth brushes and even colored hair bands for ladies. How considerate and very thoughtful for their guest. Two tumbs up! 24hrs convenient store is just a 2 mins walk round the corner.... More

Everything is ok except the terrible breakfast service in 1F restaurant Symphony Captain of this restaurant treated guests who doesnt speak Japanese like nothing, and never tried to find someone else to communicate.

My husband and I picked this hotel because of the good review but we were shocked how small the double semi room is (good for one person only), even though the room has everything from refrigerator to safe. The carpet and chair were old and dirty looking. Mold on the wall which made us more allergic from our eyes, noses... More

Comfortable mattress. Minimal pillows with large, fluffy comforter. Everything is clean and in good condition. The hotel staff speak little English, but they're kind and patient with foreigners, so the language barrier was not an issue. They helped us to find a laundromat as well as ticket information for a local musical. There's a Japanese style breakfast for the more... More

We stayed 3 nights on 2/24. Very roomy comparing to other Japanese hotel room. The public hot bath is awsome, clean and maintains well. Communication is a bit difficult as they do not speak English, I do not speak japaneses.

Stayed at the Arts for two nights. Check in quick and efficient. Rooms are large. We had a corner suite that included a window seat where we could look out over the river. Breakfast buffet was very large with a variety of Asian style dishes including tempura. Not a lot of fruit etc however there was a chocolate fountain for... More
