We stayed for 2 nights recently and got a really good rate at the hotel. The room was fairly large and comfortable by Japanese standards. It's close to Nakajima-keen station but away from the central area which is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. We didn't mind that as the quiet location was welcomed. There is lovely park nearby... More

We reserved this hotel online for 3 nights in two rooms. Its a tall hotel with nice view all around. It was the last leg of our 9-days Hokkaido trip. We drove there in our rental van. The hotel does not have concierge service, so you have to take care of your own luggage. Parking is a bit of a... More

The hotel room wasn't big enough to fit two people. We had two medium sized luggages and it was quite difficult to find a place to put it down and organise ourselves. The common bathing area was quite good though. Location is a bit off but not bad if you have a car. Parking is jpy600 per day.

Excellent staff and a wonderful hotel. They upgraded my room for free to a larger room, so I was quite happy with my stay. The onsen (bathhouse) was extremely clean and had a wonderful Finnish sauna. The breakfast options included 3 different restaurants, of which the buffet was excellent, with Western and Japanese foods to choose from. The staff don't... More

I visited the hotel in Sapporo after visiting other hotels in Hokkaido. The other hotels were large while the room in Art Hotels was small as the hotels in Tokyo. I could enjoy hot spring, Onsen, but the quality of hot springwater is moderate. I think Noboribetsu is the best place in terms of the quality of hot springwater. Clean,... More

20 minutes walking required to the centre of Sapporo City. Lobby is cozy. Restaurant very nicely done like a Garden Canopy type. Many lifts. Got a Traditional Japanese Restaurant upstairs. They can do Seafood Menus for Muslim visitors. BUT THE ROOM is so very small!!! Its so small that makes IBIS Hotels a Suite!

Good hotel for the spot, pretty close to the station. Nakajima park is just there to take a walk. Business trip (Seminar) always spends long time in the hotel, it's bad there's no gym inside the hotel. Hot spring was good. The room was not bad but pretty old and hard to use. For example, there are only 2 outlets... More

The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding as everywhere in Japan. The rooms are very tiny, as is the bathroom where you can hardly move. For breakfast there are three options, of which I would recommend the Western style set menu. The buffet breakfast is just so so, with little to choose. What is a major problem in the hotel... More

We loved this hotel. The room is so spacious and comfortable. It even has a separate area for sofa and TV , not common for such a great value. Hotel staff are always polite, service is great. We enjoyed the onsen so much that we hardly use the bathroom in the room! It may be a bit far from the... More

I spent one night at the Art Hotel after a Judas Priest concert and as a special deal with ANA. The room I had was a twin that was shoebox shaped and sectioned nicely into three distinct parts, the entry and bath, the sitting area and the sleeping area. The room also had a nicely designed window seat large enough... More
