Nice hotel.....But very disappointed with extra charges. 3,200 yen to use the pool per day and 300 yen for a bucket of ice. Totally outrageous! The front desk staff was not very knowledgable and was not helpful with the English language. Have traveled to Beijing, Hong Hong, Taipei,Tokyo, Osaka & Fukuoka and never had a problem with staff for an... More

Close to city center with shopping and restaurants nearby. A modern hotel with good sized rooms and clean amenities. Beds are very comfortable. Good selection at the breakfast buffet table. Very efficient and friendly service.

This is a massive Japanese business hotel (20 floors). We stayed here for the snow festival and it was the perfect location (we could see some of the smaller snow sculptures from the elevator). it was about a 5-10 min easy walk to the main area with the projection mapping, etc. The main area for the ice sculptures was a... Stayed here for the Snow Festival from 6-8 Feb 2015. It was one of the only available nice hotels available last minute. It was a little expensive at first, until i saw the location. When I arrived they were very warm and inviting. Check-in was very quick. I wanted a no smoking room but when I got to my room... More

This hotel was a base for our exploration of the Snow Festival. Very nice, quite clean and quiet. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Central location for walking through snow festival grounds. Only complaint was a bit of mold in the shower and tub. There are restaurants in the hotel: be aware they have limited hours, and don't expect... More

The location is not at the heart but Sapporo but still walking distance toward station (if you fancy 15 walk in -5c). The hotel is big, clean, efficient. Parking is at basement, so our car was safe from the continuous downpour snow (you want this so you don't have to clean it in the morning). We booked 2 rooms. Room... More

This hotel is located on W11, N1 in Sapporo. It is about 150m walking distance to nearest subway which links to Odori. The hotel is a high rise and view from room is great. There are 4 lifts servicing the floors and the speed was good. Breakfast was better than average. Hotel staffs are generally typical Japanese; very polite..

Stayed in the Royton Hotel two nights in early December 14. Good spacious rooms. Very large for Japan standards. Bathrooms are sizable. Rooms overall very good. We booked over two weeks in advance and requested joining rooms with a late arrival. We arrived at the late time stated and there was no adjoining room available, the man on reception said... More

Didn't sleep, but attended a conference here. Nice facilities for the price. Great internet service. Overall nice experience. As it's one of the bigger hotels in the area, I am sure their overnight services are just as great.

I just spent 4 nights at the Royton Hotel in Sapporo and had a pleasant enough stay. It is now the low season between the end of the ski period and the arrival of spring ,so the hotel was not crowded. Overall, the staff are very polite and pleasant and they try their best to be helpful. Unfortunately, I do... More
