Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu is a little bit out of way.Clean,adequate room size,(but the toilet room is too small as other japanese hotel.)We loved the breakfast there,good milk,the restaurant facing a cute garden.Price fair,staff friendly.As a whole,pretty nice place to stay.

The hotel is 7-10 mins walk from the Nakajima Koen Metro Station. The way to the hotel is a bit quiet at night. If your aim is to go shopping, i would rather suggest to have a hotel near JR Sapporo station or Susukino station.

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the closest subway station (Nakashima Koen station) but that station does not have escalators so if you plan to take a lot of luggage, don't take the subway. It's a good base for exploring Sapporo since Nakashima Koen station is only 1...

We were three: me, my wife and our child 14 yrs old. We had a wonderful stay. Faboulous breakfast both "western" and "japanese style". Underground station at 4' minutes walk.
