I went to Sapporo for business trip and booked this hotel without any expectation. However this hotel was so great than price and name value from foreigner. Room was nice and surprising things are food. I never ate that kind of great food ever. I am strongly recommend if there is a plan to go Sapporo.

The hotel was a huge hotel with different wings and different types of rooms to offer. We stayed two nites in the comfort room floor. We specified non-smoking rooms however, the rooms still had smell (the room get air freshener obviously the hotel is also aware of the smell problem). It is quite unacceptable for a non-smoking room to have... More

Hotel is located in central Sapporo and has parking facilities next to the hotel. Stayed one night in connecting rooms with our 3 kids. Rooms are booked as one room. One smaller room with 2 beds and one larger room with 3 beds. Check-in was efficient and smooth but after arriving in the room(s) the connecting door was still locked.... More

Very satisfied with the following features and advantages of staying in this hotel .- (a) Ability to accomodate 4 adults in 1 room, very comfortably. Room decor was modern and clean with comfortable single beds as well. ( b) Excellent location with close walking proximity to the JR Sapporo station, and a leisurely stroll to the interesting city sights and... More

Nice hotel, situated close to the JR station. Only about 5 minute walk down the main road. Great amenities. Price included breakfast and they offer three options - three different restaurants. Also lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood. No complaints.

This well located Sapporo Grand Hotel is not just grand but its the attitude of the staff that makes you feel special and grand. Members of the staff especially at the reception are very attentive, helpful and ever ready to render the warmth and friendliness that every guest in any hotel hopes to receive. I was very impressed with Mr... More

Sapporo Grand Hotel really does live up to its name of being a grand one. There are three entrances from which you can come and go, including one that is directly accessible from the Sapporo Underground Walkway. (I would advise accessing it via the underground walkway since the hotel’s monotone exterior is a tad hard to spot amongst many other... More

We have stayed in many hotels in Japan throughout the years, this hotel made me feel I was in a major capital, not a northern Japanese City. The twin room was average size for Japanese hotels, but the facilities and extras were lavish, beautiful robes and indoor wear, coffee pod machine with four pods, lots of really good toiletries, large Hd... About an 8 minute walk from the JR station, on the sidewalk, or by the underground walk where it is easier to roll a suitcase. A big hotel, with a spacious lobby, with a gallery, Starbucks, a local sweet shop, and I think 4 restaurants. The rooms are nice sized, a bit bigger than typical Japanese hotels. Make sure you... Great location - easy access to linked train stations and underground shopping facilities. Great service; friendly staff. Only issue was that we were assigned smoking rooms despite earlier request made. Had to change as the stench was unbearable.
