I had a very nice stay here with helpful, friendly staff, quiet and comfortable accommodations and great internet service. Though the breakfast was good, I thought the price a little high and selection a little too Western for my liking. But still, a very nice stay.

Great place to stay. Staff super helpful. My only negative is you can hear people walking around upstairs and it can be pretty loud. Wasn't the only one with the problem. Take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper

Stayed there for 1 night as our last stop before flying back home. We travel in a family of 5 and with around 8 luggages. From the minute we unloaded our luggages from our car until we do our registration in Front Desk. Not a single hotel staff giving hands. 4 staffs standing in Front Desk with no guest checking... Conveniently located 2 minutes away from JR Sapporo Station, Room is quite spacious and staff is very helpful and speaks good English. Only thing we noticed is that AC is not available in the rooms, although in Hokkaido you may not need it at all.

Great hotel! One short block from Sapporo station, so that means no cabs to worry about - just take the rapid train from the airport and walk to your hotel. Sapporo station is a HUGE shopping complex so everything you could want, including dozens of restaurants, is right there. I would highly recommend the breakfast package - something for every... More

Came for a convention, and this was just right. The walk from the JR station is easy, just a short block, and the hotel is clean and quiet. My room was nice, large for Japan and looked out over (slightly smoggy) mountains. The breakfasts are cafeteria style, so not gourmet but convenient. The front desk staff were really helpful and... This is a very good hotel to stay for Americas. Staffs speak good English and the room is just the right size. Very clean and no bad surprises. If you care the most about the room and not have view, gym or other facilities in the hotel, this is a very good and convenient hotel. Our booking did not include... More

As indicated in many reviews, the Sapporo Aspen is very close to the train station. The rooms are also of average size for a hotel of this type in Japan and relatively quiet. However, their staff does not understand as much English as their website might lead you to believe, the breakfast is mediocre and the room keys are bizarre.... More

Stayed in this hotel as part of tour package. First impression of staff not good as they stopped us from going into lift to allow their guests in first. Although we were there as a tour group - they should also accord us the courtesy as we also had to wait for our turn to take the lift. Location of... More

Booked this hotel based on the review submitted by contributors and i must say i am happy with the stay. Sapporo station is less than 5 mins walk and its very convenient to move around if you stay here. The only complaint here would be breakfast was quite boring as we stayed for 3 nights and we didn't see any... More
