The hotel is certainly not a new hotel and might not be the best but it is very clean, well maintain, and most importantly: location, location, location. The room is spacious by Japanese standard, we used extra bed as we are 3 adults, and room still ok. Service was excellent. We tried both Japanese and Western buffet and both were... More

There are 3 things i really like about this hotel is the comfortable spacious room, location and excellent service. I was really surprised by the size of the room after hearing many comments about how small japanese accommodation is. It was extremely comfortable and had a spacious bathroom. The hotel also paid attention to details by providing all the toiletries... More

The outstanding benefit of staying at The Okura Sapporo is the location. It's right next to Odori Park, it's in between Susukino entertainment district and the JR Railway Station (and JR Tower with it's various shopping centres including ESTA and Stellar Place), the entrance to the Odori Subway station is just across the road and best of all the airport... Sufficient space to move around despite having 3 beds in the room. Located near exit 3 of Odori Station and 7 mins through the underground shopping mall to sapporo station. After we found our way to walk between these two stations we would walk instead of taking the subway.

I stayed this hotel for five nights during the period of September 17, 2014 to October 30, 2014. We paid for the breakfast, good value. The location is very good and the service is excellent. Highly recommended.

Recently, I have stayed in this hotel for our first night in Hokkaido trip. A bit walk from the station but manageable... (10-15 minutes on foot... could carry one piece of luggage under the nice sun shine of Sapporo). Even though the hotel was small and showing ages I could feel the touch of Okura hotel chain's service touches... (I... More

This hotel was slightly old. The decor and setup wasn't a very modern hotel. Perfect location since it's very accessible to the Airport Bus station, JR Station, Pole Town (underground shopping), and 狸小路 Tanukikoji Road. Free wifi at the lobby which needs a passcode. Free wifi in the room, no login required. Only downside is that the maids never made... More

The hotel is a slightly older but the decor was clean and modern. The great thing about older hotels is it's more spacious. The location is close to the shopping district and was about 10 minutes walk to Susukino and the Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade. We walked to the Sapporo JR Station and it took us 15 minutes, but if you... More

Great location. Close to city center. They offer two options for breakfast: Japanese or Western. I had the Western style which had many things to choose from including local fruits and milk. They offer free WIFI. The room is a bit old though.
