Not so new but still easy and convenient location within 5mins drive from the main train station. Located to nearby malls and shops, also walking distance to touristic locations such as old brick government house and clock tower. The room is quite spacious but the bed is a bit hard. Shower was find. Overall good priced hotel.

this hotel gave me the biggest room ever during my stays in Japan. a bit pricey but since im staying during xmas season so its really difficult to judge. the standard room is very spacioius already , though they still have a room with spacious category again. the amenities is amazing as always, the location also amazing, very near to... Okura Sapporo may have had its hey days, but it's just an average old hotel today. I was very surprised by how old the room is and how plain the facilities are when I first entered my room. With the price Okura is charging, you will get much better room; or, I am quite sure, you can get similar room... More

About 3min walk to Odori station and Odori park. Odori station is linked to Sapporo station so it was splendid for us who took Japan Rail quite often, as well as took the train to the airport. Breakfast was a choice of Western buffet or Jap breakfast set. We loved both as they serve quality and fresh foods. Room was... More

We stayed at the Okura Hotel for 4 nights over christmas and I have to say it was one of the greatest disappointments I have experienced for a long time. For a brand that once prided itself on outstanding service and amenities this hotel is a shinning example of how to stuff a brand. While the rooms are large, they... More

he hotel is located next to Ou-douri-Park in the center of Sapporo. The room is clean. Staff is professional with the mind of taking care of any issues. The bed is very hard. Since I had the back problem, I felt that it is too hard for my back. The staff tried to find the soft bed in other hotels... More

Flying through sapporo and most hotels were full because of the sapporo marathon. This hotel is near the sapporo clock tower and TV station which also makes it near the shopping district. About a 5 min walk then you will reach the famous Nikka neon sign near susukino. Further away, maybe 15 min is sapporo station. So overall very convenient.... More

I booked a deluxe twin room, That was Non-smoking (I have asthma) and when we checked in at the hotel, It was just like checking in to a luxury hotel (Nothing out of the ordinary). I actually only found out that the room was a smoking room once I entered the floor and it smelled of cigarettes. I had to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and was extremely disappointed at how poor quality this Okura hotel was. It does not deserve to be part of the Okura chain and quite honestly ruins the reputation of this usually highly regarded Japanese chain. Below are the reasons why I would NOT recommend this hotel: - Facilities/rooms/bathrooms are old and poorly maintained.... More

The room is pretty big by Japanese standards, though the hotel and the room is rather old and in need of a facelift. Location is also quite good, near Odori Park, which makes it walkable to the clock tower and the park. Parking is not free (1,500 yen per day) and as there is no on-site parking, the staff will...
