Stayed here during the snow festival so it was very busy. The hotel is close to Odori Park (near to one end of the snow festival site) and a Subway station. It is a long walk to Susukino or the JR station. Had booked a room for four including a cot but when we got to the room it had... More

We stayed in this hotel as it was close to Odori Park, as we knew we wanted to see the Sapporo Ice Festival at the park. It turns out that the hotel is a 3-5 mins walk to the park. The staff at check in were, as you would expect, very courteous and friendly. The check in was quite fast... More

We spent two nights in the Sapporo Prince Hotel beginning of February 2013 during the famous Sapporo Snow Festival. The hotel is offering nice rooms, which are reasonably big for Japanese hotels. The rooms are well equipped with TV (incl. CNN) & WiFi or LAN. Bed are good and big enough for European sized guests. The bathroom is also big... More

I came to Sapporo for two reasons, one was to be part of the Snow Festival (held the second week of February) and the other was to get further from there to Nobroribetsu, the famous and popular onsen area in Japan. I stayed in Sapporo Prince Hotel for the first night on 12 February. I got there direct from Chitosen... More

I have stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and everything was great but concierge had a bad face impression with bad service mind. They were no willing to help and mostly avoid to talk with foreigner guest. Only few reception officer are able to communicate in English. In my opinion, they should have at least English conversation course for... More

Arrived at Sapporo Prince Hotel exhausted on Saturday 12, 2012. Its a great round hotel and the welcome is adorable. One feels really appreciated. Finally, here are people who appreciate customers despite the language barrier. The rooms are neat and the smoking area is tucked away, hidden from he view of customers checking in. Finally, too, I could choose in... More

Everything about this hotel is average. Fairly good (but not very good) location, clean rooms but very small. Rather poor western/Japanese buffet breakfast. Used by tour parties. Difficult to say whether it is good value or not, because prices are so variable. Bottom line: there are better places to stay in Sapporo that are cheaper, the same price or more... More

The Sapporo Prince was a nice business and tourist-oriented hotel, clean and comfortable. The location was okay, we were lucky to have a local drive us around a bit. We never did figure out how to get there on public transport and took mostly cabs in our couple of days there. It is a high-rise so we had an nice... More

The room I stayed was really compact. Literally had no space to walk around with my luggage opened up. They have a "hot spring" on the 2nd floor but it was really small - 2 pools: one indoor, one with open roof. Staffs are courteous - I guess it is not a selling point as it is more like a... More

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights on the occasion of a conference. It is a big, not particularly attractive building on a big and busy boulevard. The level of traffic noise on the 16th floor was acceptable. The location is slightly off centre but only a 3 min walk from the subway (underground transit, metro)... More
