Stay there for 4 nights during xmas holiday. Room rate didn't inflat much during xmas (booked 1.5months ahead). I travelled a lot to Sapporo these years and have been staying in four different hotels closed to JR station. Loction: Above JR station, north exit, turn left and you would find the hotel next to GAP. The hotel next to the... More

Chose this hotel because of its location-- right on top of the JR station and shopping malls--and because we went in January and the forecast was heavy snow, we didn't fancy dragging our luggage through the icy snowpacked streets to a hotel. Perhaps I was spoilt by the wonderful service of the Swissotel in Osaka, but the Nikko's service is... More

We travelled to Sapporo in a group of 3 adults and a baby. We chose this hotel based on its convenient location. We were definitely not disappointed with the choice as the hotel is right at the Sapporo Station (both subway and JR). From the New Chitose Airport, we took a direct JR train to the hotel, which took about... More

I booked this hotel on line and booked a double room. I filled out my details and my husbands details. It was booked in two names. When we checked in we were told it was for one person and had to pay 11000 yen for the extra person. This booking didn't include breakfast. We told the lady it was booked... More

This is our first time in Sapporo even though we have visited Japan a number of times over the year. We chose this hotel because our friends, whom we joined on this trip, have stayed in this hotel previously and highly recommended it. As it turned out, we really enjoyed our stay and there is nothing that falls short of... More

Stayed here in different rooms due to availability. The one person room is really small but surprisingly functional and efficient. The bigger rooms are nicer and have a nice view, and also slightly more. The breakfast is really tasty with a good view of sapporo and the surrounding mountains. So I highly recommended having a meal up there on the... More

This is not a hotel for you to lounge and enjoy the facilities. It is a very basic hotel with adequate facilities and good service. One should not expect luxe service and take the hotel for its room and board. Like the other reviewers, I found the location ideal and walkable to most areas in Sapporo. I was there for... More

I booked this hotel because of it's location, it is right on the Sapporo JR station. To my surprise, it is more than that. I am impressed when I stepped in the hotel for check in. Before I got my passport out, the bellboy already had my name from my luggage tag for check it. When I pulled up the... More

Unfortunately I didn't get to stay here because my flight to Sapporo got cancelled due to the snowed out airport runways. But I wanted to leave a positive review to praise the reservation staff of their professionalism and understanding of my situation, and to thank them for not billing me for the rooms.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. The last time was about 2 years ago. This time, we visited Sapporo to view the Snow and Ice Festival, which was quite spectacular, though overly crowded. The main advantage of this hotel is its location, which is unbeatable as it is situated just above the JR Train Station and the... More
