Stayed there 5 nights for business. Friendly and professional staff. Room quite small but in line with Japanese standards. Good location in the night life area of Sapporo a close to the Susukino underground st. Very good buffet breakfast mainly Japanese style (i.e. not many continental western food). Hotel is easy to find / access from Sapporo JR station. Find and take the Nanboku subway line and get off at Susukino station. Take exit 4 up the stairs, follow the streetcar line to the 1st intersection and turn left, then turn right at the next intersection and the hotel is 100m on your right. It's a standard business... It is conveniently located in the middle of Susukino town. Perfect place for night entertainment in the area. The rooms are small but very clean. You can enjoy the fairly big Spa for free and take sauna. Breakfast is very good !

I had 4 nights stay at this hotel. Perfect location. Only short walk from susukino station exit4. Tons of bars and restaurants around. My husband and I found this hotel to be perfect for our stay during the Sapporo Snow Festival in 2013. It is about 1 1/2 short blocks from the Suskino Ice Sculpture site. I paid about $120 per night and it comes with breakfast for 2. Though the room was small, the cleanliness of the room and breakfast sure make up for it. Spent 4 nights at this premises, the location is merely 5 minutes walk from the susukino station. Susukino is considered as Sapporo's version of Kabukicho in Shinjuku (Tokyo) . I've stayed at other hotels in Sapporo which cost almost double and the Route Inn is more than sufficient. It's in the heart of Susukino, right in the centre of the action if you want to go out at night. The area around JR Station and Odori Park is a little dead at night so I'd definitely stay in Susukino.... More

Coming in at about half the price of similar hotels near the centre of town, I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed staying here.
