We stayed there for one night. My parents stayed at the cottage with private onsen, while my sis and I stayed in a twin bedroom. The price of the cottage was twice the twin bedroom. But the difference was HUGE. The cottage space was like 4 times the size of the twin bedroom, with private outdoor onsen (which was very... More

I booked 複式cottage last time. The room was very spacious and clean. The room included private bath which was very relaxing. The breakfast buffet was very delicious. There was 燒綿花糖 at lobby, so funny and suprise!

Our family stayed here for one night, and booked a cabin and a room in the hotel building. Both were wonderful. The room had a wonderful surprise - it came with its own hot stone bed, massage chair and roomy sofa! The indoor and outdoor onsens were clean, well-structured and had a great view of the snow-capped trees. The nighttime... More

We came here for a night and we came late at around 6pm from Sapporo. We were tired of carrying luggage in heavy snow. Once we got into the hotel, a hotel staff who speaks Putunghua came and took care of us. She asked us where we are from and our plan in the next day. She helped to arrange... More

Spent 2 nights in a private cottage in February 2014. The journey from Sapporo to Makomanai station was easy to navigate and there is free hotel shuttle bus from Makomanai station. The cottage was very well appointed and the private outdoor onsen was the most relaxing feature, particularly when it was snowing! All guests wear a pyjama-style outfit around the... More

Book thru the hotel website and then take the 10.30 am hotel bus from Makomonai subway station in Sapporo - 30 mins later you are in Jozankei village and this beautiful hotel. The reception design is all leaves and Ainu patterns, with a water feature and a... More

The interior is nicely decorated, Very soothing to look at the minute you step in. The marshmellow lounge is a nice touch, where you can roast marshmellows by the fire & chat with companions. Our room was really big, clean & very comfortable. Very big for Japanese hotel standard indeed. The dinner buffet had lots of varieties. Taste was not... More

We were attracted by the hotel brand and photos on the hotel's website. It is truly a beautiful resort except smaller than I expected. We took the shuttle bus from Makomanai railway station to the hotel. The bus timetable and bus stop location are on the hotel we page. The shuttle bus is green with the hotel,'s name on the... More

Wow really one of the best Ibsen resorts I've visited so far! Excellent location, great service, awesome food, and just great great onsen facility, highly recommended when you visit Sapporo!!! Buffet breakfast and dinner was good, including made to order pizza where you can pick ur own toppings. Take a stroll around the hotel and enjoy the scenery of Jozankei!
