I would definitely recommend the a mercure for a stay in Sapporo. Close to ramen st for food and many bars and clubs, yet as two 60 year olds very quiet when you need it. We found the staff helpful both with information and accommodating our wants. Not 5 star but great value for money. We didn't pay for breakfast... More

having read many reviews I decided to come here. Without doubt a very nice hotel. Some of the reviews say that the were disappointed not having received an upgrade. I don't really understand such comments because frankly speaking, you get what you pay. You want a swuite, book and pay it. But the standard rooms are more than sufficient. The... More

Excellent in every way. Upgrade to executive suite. Friendly English speaking staff. Walk around and see gardens, temples and shrines. Catch tram for overall perspective of the city. Interesting fish market and shopping malls, both above and below ground level.

The hotel is located at Susukino, very closed to lots of nice restaurants. Not far from the Susukino subway station, bus stop of the airport bus is just across the road. If you take a taxi from the SAPPORO station will cost you less then 1000¥. The room and bathroom are spacious for Japanese standard. It's clean and new. I'll... More

Room good value for money and very comfortable. Adjacent to 2 subway lines, 2 stops from Sapporo station, or 800-900 Yen taxi ride to station, or 25 mins walk in underground shopping walkways. We had an issue with requesting information in advance via email, but management resolved things very satisfactorily. We would stay here again.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days 2 nights during winter for wedding photo taking at Moerenuma Park. The interior looks new and modern. There are no subway or trains around this area but a short cab trip to sapporo station. Good things about this hotel is the surrounding. It's filled with restaurants and shops. Just opposite the hotel is... More

The room is great. Clean and spacious. Clean and spacious bathroom as well. Location is superb and price is good. I love the fact that the hotel is right in the center of everything, eating places, shops, attraction. Opposite is the famous crab restaurant. We didnt try. Heard from review that it is good but pricey. Many other restaurants around,... More

My wife and I stayed at the Mercure during the 2015 Snow Festival, a very busy time of year. The hotel is just a short walk from the airport shuttle bus stop, a big plus. It is also just a short walk to the underground walkway, which is a must on a inclement weather day. The room was very comfortable.... More
