Staff are very friendly and made us very welcome. Nearby is empty but everything can be got in hotel, snack, food, fair restaurant, swimming suit...etc. We stay at a small but fair price room which might be larger than the room we stayed in the downtown. Facility is very suitable for family with children and hot spring is great. We... More

Our group of 16 stayed in this hotel for one night. Our room is quite spacious with a courtyard view. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The courtyard is beautiful at night. We had our delicious set dinner at a Japanese restaurant in the basement. The buffet breakfast in the courtyard restaurant offered both Japanese and western... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while visiting Sapporo. Since we stayed in the Ryu-Kung (Traditional Japanese Hotel) and wore Yukata which provided in a hotel room every night, we wore them during our stay in this hotel too. But we were informed by the hotel staffs that we are not allowed to do it because this is... More

I sayed here for two days with the option of buying the pool and Hot Spring pass. Well worth it as it lets you go unlimited times and the sakura hot bath and charcoal bath was very nice. All together they have 9 baths of varying temperatures from 35C to 46 C. It was nice to have hairdryers and other... More

The price for the rooms will only get you the room. In order to use any of the water stuff (pools, slides, toys, spa) you will have to pay extra. The hotel is quite run down. Our room had torn carpet, water stains in the ceiling, and wall paper falling down. I will say the customer service is fantastic. The... More

Stayed here one night with the family. Our twin room is average sized, but the triple room next door was much bigger and had 2 toilets. The pool was great, with plenty of options for babies, toddlers, young kids and adults. Did not visit the onsen, but heard that it was good too. The breakfast buffet was great with huge... More

It was billed as a 5* hotel, with a hotspring, but I think it was only so-so. Good: - Rooms were big, with a huge bathroom. - Nice view of Sapporo city and the mountains. Bad: - Not your traditional onsen. Essential 5 - 6 big pools of water of varying temperatures. Their outdoor onsen was a joke. - One... More

For those looking for a traditional Japanese hotel, this hotel is obviously not for those individuals. Nor do I think the hotel tries to market itself as traditional. The hotel is a modernized western influenced hotel that still comes with great service when compared to service in the United States. Japanese hotels and inns always pride themselves on customer service... More

I realize that the reaction to this hotel will be different for foreigners who are here for a Japanese feel. But for residents of Japan who want a weekend getaway, this is a fine place. Rooms can be had for as little as Y11500 per night. The facilities date from the Bubble 1980s so while it may look out of... More

This place tries to give you a Western feeling. If you are a foreigner in Japan, you probably do not want such an experience. The whole place is a resort with little authenticity. Just go somewhere else to get much more for the same price at a more beautiful environment.
