The hotel staffs were very friendly and professional when we arrived at the hotel. Hotel looks dated at first sight. There is a bad smell in the hotel, somewhat smell of frying oil. Initially I thought maybe the smell is due to restaurant at the basement but i was wrong. The smell continued all the way to the rooms corridor.... More

Took a 1 hr bus ride from Chitose Airport wt 2 teenage daughters & wife to this hotel & was greeted by a Taiwanese staff who is God-sent to our communications as we cant converse in Japanese language but in English & Mandarin. He taught us so many things & new things especially eg the culture & how to behave... More

I had a twin room (western style) which was large by Japanese standards. It could do with some modernisation as the veneer was peeling on some of the furniture. The buffet dinner was acceptable with a reasonable selection to choose from. The breakfast was also reasonable with thick bacon for a change. No Wi-Fi or LAN in the room which... More

Came here for a staff spring outing! Though I'm not a big fan for hot spring, this place is great for team bounding time :) We all stayed in washitsu (Japanese-style room), so it was nice to be able to chill in one of the rooms with many people at a time - drank beer and played cards. The town... More

This may just be my view but I felt that this hotel was tired and could do with a refurbishment, the carpets looked dirty, the rooms were in need of a make over and there was a strange smell in the public baths changing rooms which I have never experienced before. Additionally WiFi is only available in the lobby, which... More

I stayed at 2 different hot spring hotel but I enjoy the 24 hour at Jozankei Manseikaku Hotel Milione. Why ? So you can go when it is not crowd and enjoy privacy. The hot spring offers a shower right next door so people take a soapy shower before entering. The hot spring easy accessible from the same building so... More

The onsen comparatively speaking with other hotels I've stayed before is not as good cause it feels like all pools are the same temperature and the cold water pool isn't cold enough. The hotel otherwise is not bad at all. I highly recommend to go down to the restaurant after onsen. It opens till late at night and the prices... More

Joined a tour group so can't comment on the price. We liked this hotel because of its wide variety of japanese and western food and desserts at the buffet dinner and breakfast. Our favorites were the tender roast beef and fresh sashimi for dinner. The restaurant staff were also friendly and polite. We had Japanese style room which was spacious... More

We stayed one night at this hotel and opted for half board (ie. dinner and breakfast). Dinner was quite good, in that there is a wide selection of food, and food tastes above average. We did not have too great an experience dining though, because the restaurant was extremely crowded during both dinner and breakfast. I think our main gripe... More
