I was staying at this hotel between 20-23 May 2015 with my wife and our 2 years old boy. The hotel is next to metro and JR station, the hotel was connected with shopping mall and metro by underground tunnel and closed to everything. We had a nice birthday dinner at the rotating restaurant naming Rondo on 23/F, great view... More

We checked in on 5 May 2015 at the Century Royal Hotel in Sapporo. The hotel is close to Sapporo JR station. We were three travellers staying in a large twin room with a sofa bed. We bought a package on the internet. The package included free drinks in the fridge but just four bottles, one bottle of water, tea,... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, the room was small and the furniture were a little outdated, but clean including the bathroom although again, the bath area was pretty small and for westerners, it would be a problem. I chose the breakfast buffet and it was awesome, there were so many choices and you could feel the sincerity... More

This older hotel is In a truly great location next to JR station. It can be reached thru underground tunnel that is connected to trains and a huge network of shops, groceries, mall buildings and eateries. Unbeatable advantage especially in the cold winter months. Opposite Daimaru, next to Kinokuniya and Starbucks. We were also able to walk thru all the... More

Like what everyone is saying, it is in GREAT LOCATION. Once you get use to it, the underground path takes you to many of the popular areas. This helps your walk despite harsh weathers. JR Sapporo is close, taxi is evrywhere and if you are Japanese speaker or Japanese Manga fan, 24 hours Manga Cafe is in first floor. Rooms... More

The best thing about this hotel is its close proximity to Sapporo station. Straight out main entrance and visible across plaza (so if you go out the wrong exit you are aware of your mistake and reverse direction). Once there, you can work out access from underground pathways to avoid bad weather. A long established business and tourist hotel that... More

I arrived at late evening. It's very good that the hotel is connected with underground shopping mall, JR and subway, so freezing and windy weather outside would not affected the movement. Only one drawback is the dark corridor outside the underground lift lobby so one might not easily recognize the hotel entrance. There're 2 choices of buffet - one is... More

Stayed 5 nights from end Jan to early Feb. Arriving Sapporo by train from Hakodate, this hotel was connected by lift and underground passage to JR Sapporo station which made for very convenient access even in inclement weather. The only downside is this passage has a few up and down steps to navigate. Those with heavy luggage might find it... More
