We were on tour and while this hotel was nice enough - it really is not near the Lake area. We did have some problems. The sheets had not been changed and we were so tired we did not notice until the next day. It was hard to communicate with the staff. The breakfast items including coffee were all cold.... more

the rooms were nice, there was free wireless internet, the spa/sauna is only for men and there is no pool, no room service and only 1 mediocre restaurant, it's in the city, I would advice staying on or near the lake. despite the name, there is no lake here. more

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in...anyplace! And it's even a good value. Luxuriously appointed rooms, super clean, attentive staff, excellent breakfast, beautiful design. It's only slight problem is that it is about a 20 minute walk to West Lake. But it is next to large food and tea markets, in an interesting part of the city. more

Our tour company, Chinaspree, changed our itineary to this hotel apparently because previous groups had not given their assigned hotel good ratings. We really were not sure what to expect.
