This hotel appears beautiful. The lobby, the grounds, the rooms, etc.

But do not stay here, period. We travel 300 days per year all over the world and this was our worst stay ever at a hotel.

We booked a suite, but at check in they tried to give us a normal room. I showed them a photo of the room we booked from the hotel web site and they finally complied.

When we got to our room, it was over 28C (85F) inside. There were two thermostats and I turned them to 15C (mid 50's). After 14 hours, no change in temp!

We tried to get the problem fixed all day, but every room they showed us had the same problem. We realized the AC was totally ineffective AFTER we had unpacked and when we returned to our room at 1am. We slept through the night, sweating profusely, on top of our comforter, after checking other rooms.

Whether I turned either of our two AC units to 30 C heat, or 15 C cold, the temp that came out of ANY OF THE ROOMS climate controls units... more
