I stayed here end of June for 2 nights as I had business in Hangzhou. The staff although very polite, were not vey good at English and so struggled for communications or advice. The rooms were of a good size and well kitted out. The bathroom and shower was more than adequate. Breakfast was reasonable in selection and quality. I... More

Spent a night here. Rooms were of a standard expected of a city hotel, on the small side but adequate. Breakfast spread was really good and sumptuous. If I had to gripe about something, it would be the poor English communication from the staff. Although they tried their best to understand our requests, getting the message across takes longer than... More

This was a one night stay for me and the hotel was pleasant enough. Rooms were good, nice and comfortable and very clean. I thought value for money was excellent, and I would certainly stay again if in Hangzhou.

Stayed for one night, but had stayed here previously probably in 2007. Big hotel inside/ adjacent to what looks like a shopping mall. Nice big rooms, got discounted rate £65 per night making it great value. Staff quite competent in English.

If you stay in this hotel, get the double bedroom. The king bedroom has a weird layout. It's like they integrated the bathroom into the bedroom. The TV is mounted on the wall in front of the bed. The desk and chair is directly below the TV. To the left of the TV is the shower stall. To the right... More

I have stayed in this hotel many times over the years, though I now prefer to stay in Hangzhou city for the better restaurants options etc. The rooms in this hotel are excellent offering a variety of qualities you can choose from and all at a very reasonable prices, especially compared to Hangzhou city itself. The restaurant on the first floor... I have stayed in this chinese run hotel in mid-December, 2011 and with the following observations: Upside: -Great clean hotel with all basic needs provided (Very good). Downside: -Breakfast: Limited selections, too many cold dishes, may suit non-Asian who enjoy salad types. (compared to other hotels visited in different cities in China, will suggest need some improvements in this area... More

This six star hotel has some unique corner rooms with a separate washroom with a view of the city. These corner rooms have only a shower whereas other rooms only have a tub. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning quiet. Great for a restful sleep. The walls are a bit thin so you may hear the tv in... More
