10 mins walk from the high street (河坊街), located just beside the main road around the lake. It provides great facilities just meet our needs -- clean, nice shower, cozy bed and free wifi inside the room. Rooms are exactly the same as pictures show. The only thing is free bottle water can be more, cuz you will need more... More

Its just renovated, everything looked pleasant. 3 star price for a 4+ hotel. Walked cross street to the Orioles Singing in the Willows park by west lake in the early morning. not many tourist but locals exercising. loved it. Hangzhou's government run public bicycle system was great(red bikes). there is a major station across street in front of the entrance.... More

Overall we were disappointed with this hotel which used to be very good. The hotel is set almost adjacent to the Western Lake affording good links to the parkland around the Western Lake and in relatively close proximity to the causeway that spans the lake. The lobby was smart, but arriving in the room, there was an odour of damp... More

We arrived by train from Shanghai and picked up a Taxi at the station that took us directly to the hotel. We were travelling independently and not part of a group. The clue is to have the name and address of the hotel, written on a card in Chinese that you can give to the Taxi driver, else you are... More

This hotel is quite decent for the money. The location is very close to west lake, and very easy to get to. There are a few downsides that I did come across. The room that I booked didn't include breakfast, so I had to pay an additional 88RMB for breakfast. The breakfast is more like you would find in other... More

I stay here regularly on business trips for a day or two. Location is excellent, just near to the lake, and a few western restaurants nearby to eat. Hotel itself is very clean, and comfortable.

Location is excellent, staff is not friendly, rooms are spacious and clean. There is free broadband but any wifi spot, so if you don't have your computer you have to pay for this service.

We booked Crystal Orange Hotel (#1 in tripadvisor for Hangzhou) for 2 nights through C-trip, and did not noticed the fine print that the reservations will be automatically cancelled by 5pm. As it turns out, our train arrived in Hangzhou at 4:30pm. The distance between the train station to Crystal Orange is about 15 mins.....but we waited more than half... More

I an an Aussie living in Shanghai who has been to Hangzhou 4 times now. Previously, I have stayed at the Hyatt and Ramada. This time, however, I chose the Wuyang. Its location, first of all, is terrific. It is in a quiet little enclave directly across the road from the lake and 10 minutes walk from the old town.... More
