This hotel is well located, just off what seems to be a major Interstate in Hangzhou and within walking distance of shopping and a beautiful little canal. (3 blocks away is a silk market, with several blocks of well-prices silk clothing of all kinds. Don't miss this.) If you are going to Hangzhou specifically to visit beautiful West Lake, then... More

I stayed in a standard room for 2 nights during a business trip to Hangzhou in April. The hotel locates at the CBD where have a lot of restaurants, shopping malls and convenience stores. Although the decoration is a bit old, all are clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the room is not proof against sound. The cars on the flyover... More

As a non-smoker this hotel was my worst nightmare. A gentleman lit his cigarette during breakfast which was a buffet that lacked variety and what was there was pretty terrible. The room had a comfortable bed but it had a smoky smell and wasn't as clean as I expect. There was mould on the roof and used toenail clippers!! Wifi... More

Stayed here for a week on a business trip. Room size is comfortable, lighting in room is adequate, well maintained, wifi is available in the room, personal fax service & for the rates we got it at, overall a good value for money. Location is an advantage if you want to be in the central business district & close to... More

We arrived when subway is still under construction. Taxi would stop 300 yards away and you have to pass through uneven paving. However, inside the hotel is wonderful. The rooms are excellent. It is actually very convenient to west lake and many attractions.

I love the location, energy, service and the spirit this hotel and not to mention the dinning experience in the rooftop is something beyond ordinary. It was a beautiful opportunity to be the guest of China Hotel Association, and the most contemporary concept they have discovered to boast the beauty of Chinese Hospitality Industry at its best and see how... I've stayed at this hotel numerous times and I can say with full confidence that it is clean, comfortable and pleasant. The hotel it not a part of any Western chain and has the look and feel of a grandiose, old fashioned, communist-era place for party functionaries. But contrary to what you would expect the service and facilities can compete... More

It is overall very nice but as is typical with Chinese "stars", you can generally subtract 1 or 2 for exaggeration. The place is clean, the breakfast a deal at 50 RMB, there is a nice indoor pool and fitness center. Couple of problems to note: 1. The beds are also typical of China, like sleeping on a rock. 2....
