This is a huge, busy hotel within walking distance to the beautiful Westlake park. It is situated next to a low-end shopping area with a Walmart, McDonalds and some basic stores. (NOTE: none of these stores accept credit cards, by the way). I spent two nights in a standard room and then two nights in a suite. The standard rooms... More

This is a very nice hotel that Westerners will appreciate for the food options and English-speaking service personnel. It is well located, the rooms are a little outdated but well appointed and nice. The breakfast buffet has more variety than others of this hotel level. I recommend this hotel for business travelers looking for a well-priced, comfortable place to stay.... More

Stayed in this hotel several times when it was previously called Hangzhou World Trade Center Hotel. I noticed that the hotel has been renovated and re-branded. I quite liked the new rooms. It was spacious, well lit and functional. Internet worked fast and TV had all channels I needed. On the other hand the service in the hotel remained poor.... More

I really enjoyed staying and dining at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, stylish and clean. The buffet and private dining rooms were delicious with a wide variety of western and Chinese options. I was truly impressed by the quality of the food. Many of the restaurant options were also organic. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed my stay at Narada Grand, excellent gym facilities and swimming pool. Restaurant catered will for westerners with a good selection to choose from. The room was modern, spacious and well appointed, stunning bathroom with L'occitane amenities. Location is convenient to West Lake.

The staff don't speak English. The managers who speak a little english are most unhelpful while pretending to be very helpful. When I complained that the air conditioning is not working they shifted me to another room. Same thing happened next day. Attitude of staff is of total apathy.

Getting to the hotel was surprisingly difficult from the airport. Traffic in and around the city is dense, and not just at what you would think to be the rush hour. Situation is within walking distance of west lake, but thats about it. Nice view from rooms facing south and west overlooking hils, but you cannot see the lake from... More

Stayed in the hotel every year for ca 4-5 days. Nothing was below expectations - and we found that every year at least small improvement of services is achieved. Only one thing remains painful - to get a taxi. Hotel is unable to arrange taxi during the rush hour) because of existing deficit of taxis in the city). Comparing to... More

the rooms are of good size, well equipped and clean. the sound proof is not very good, and as chinese have a tendency to speak very loud (plus the traffic and horns), ear plugs are highly recommended staff is warmfull and ready to help, however their english is not at all sufficient to go beyond check in and check out.... The Narada Grand, and the Dragon Hotel (next door) are well located for West Lake, although a bit away from central Hangzhou. The food and amenities at the Dragon are a bit better, but the Narada does not disappoint: its buffet meals have a neat signalling system to help you choose among low, medium and high calorie dishes. The food... More
