Stayes here many times, still the best hotel in Xiaoshan. There is a pizza hut in the building, but also many other restaurants and services in the immidiate surroundings. Its also now well connected to the Hangzhou metro system. I do recommend this hotel for visitors to Xiaoshan, but there are better international hotels in Hangzhou if you do not... More

Stayed here for 2 nights booked by business contact. Long way from West Lake but a nice place. Staff here are really good - English (in some fashion) spoken by many and they will always try to solve the problem. Free wireless room and hotel and connectivity was easy though the room has a card that says you can connect... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your stay in New Century Hotel Xiaoshan. We do apologize for having caused you such inconvenience because of poor room sound insulation and tv channels. We improve our hotel facilities every year and the construction of the hotel will be finished as soon as possible. We have installed soundproof windows to reduce noice. And we... More

My wife and I stayed here for 12 nights on business in September 2013. The bed was excellent (Marriott standard), good quality room, wide choice of food of good quality and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is free wi-fi throughout the hotel.

Stayed here 10 years ago. Had reserved non smoking room. For over 30 minutes the bell hop shuffled my bags looking for a non smoking room. Think I got a down grade looking at a blue roof on the 5th floor that was the least stinky. Bed was stiff as usual in China. The shower stalls are the same as... More

My supplier booked this hotel, which underwent a major renovation. Rooms are beautiful with recessed lighting, good work desk. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed. I bought a 3G card for my iPad so didn't use the hotel connection (no wireless). I was dreading being in Xiaoshan, but this hotel made it worthwhile. Our host invited us for dinner in the Chinese... We stayed in this hotel as part of our business trip and as we traveled with 2 teenagers (11 & 13) and the hotel did not have any 2 bedroom apartments available we opted for 2 individual bedrooms, side by side. The hotel was pretty much on the top scale of our ranking (and we have stayed in hundreds over... More

Very nice view. The breakfast you can find many options of eastern and western food. Internet Wifi in the lobby and with... More

Visited the hotel in december 2011.Dont judge the hotel from the exterior look.It looks old but the inside is warm and welcoming. The staff is also very warm. The single room(for one person) is too small, even for one person.U feel cramped. But then I was upgraded to another room and the room for double is nice, good space.Bathroom ok,well equipped. Not as good as the... Centrally located at 20mins drive from Xiaoshan International Airport, close to the textile city of Hangzhou/Shaoxing, this is a very comfortable hotel to live into. Since you are in China do not expect any more English for conversation than the regular Good Mornings and Good Evenings. I was out of luck because the Italian restaurant was under renovation and for... More

Beware Rm 1017 (a business suite) at this hotel (see pictures)! I traveled to China last week as the result of a speaking invitation. It was my first time in the country and our first two days in Shanghai could not have been better (I also rated the Shangri-La in Shanghai). However, it made us ill-prepared for what we faced...
