This hostel is really just a place to sleep. The amenities were as expected for a hostel in China, firm beds, one pillow, one duvet, no sheets, average clean washroom. Needed to provide a deposit for towels. The cleaning staff use walky talkies and start very early (7 am) talking loudly in the hallways. They also knock things about while... More

Terrible service, the communal kitchen disgusting, no help regarding how to return bikes considering its located in the walking ONLY area. Almost was arrested by police trying to convince we had to return our bikes to the hostel we were staying at. Paper thin walls in rooms, attic is pleasantly different could be the most positive opinion in my review.... More

the staff were just brilliant, the only down side for us and the reason for not giving the full five stars is this, we felt that there was no flexibility for the staff to have a little give and take. For example, after staying here for three nights we were offered a free breakfast, a lovely thought and unexpected, when... More

In downtown Hangzhou (25 minutes walking from West Lake), the hostel's located in one of the prettiest areas. It's surrounded by all sorts os restaurants, cafés and shops, but it's pleasantly quiet for sleeping. Stayed two nights in the attic bedroom, which was super comfortable and clean. Shared toilet (same floor) and bathroom (two floors fown) were clean and well... More

I stayed here last night and would definitely do so again! I got a private room and slept well. It is located just off of the old shopping street which is a must to see. I rented a bike from the hostel and biked to Lingyin temple then to the tea plantation. If you're an active person, I strongly suggest... More

Location is great because it's right where everything in Hangzhou happens. Shops and restaurants are all there. Lake is also nearby (20 min walk). As it's on a pedestrian street, the taxi or subway will leave you at 10-15 minutes distance from the hostel, which means you have to walk a bit with your luggage. The rooms are clean and... More

This nice and comfortable hostel is located near a pedestrian street, 20 minutes walking distance from the lake. Rooms are quite clean and the staff is, well, not rude, but even not incredibly helpful. The subway stations are not very near. I reccomend using the one at the end of the pedestrian street just out the hostel on the right... More

Had it not been for the staff I probably would have given this a 4 star rating. I am a Solo traveller and therefore would have preferred it to be a bit more social than it was, however everything else about this hostel was brilliant. The reason the staff were so good, firstly they were really friendly, easy to communicate... More

I travelled to Hangzhou with a friend for 2 nights at the end of October. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm on the 2nd floor and loved it. The beds were big with air con and individual lockers, reading lights, electric plugs and shelves. The hostel has a great atmosphere. The common room is huge with comfortable couches and... More
