This was really a pleasant surprise. The property is very nice. The lobby, restaurant, lounge and room were all nicely decorated and in pretty good shape. The room had just a few small rough spots, but this is normal for Chinese hotels where construction quality is not always top notch. The bathtub was fantastic. The bed was one of the... More

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nites 7 days to visit our daughter currently studying in yuquan campus zhejiang university. This hotel though the reception area is not grand like other hotels, and only 3 storey, our room was modern with good wifi connection, lovely, clean & most important thing the staffs are helpful & friendly, though their... it was decently priced. room was decently huge. bed was small (feels like a queen) but sufficient comfortable and definitely clean. bathroom was small but the bathtub with bathsalts was appreciated. the power of the shower is quite weak which made bathing rather difficult. we had a room facing the back, hence we had a great quiet sleep. the sofa... I'd like to give the Tea Boutique Hotel a better review, but based on the price it just wasn't worth the extra star. We stayed in several nice hotels in China but this was the most expensive and compared to our other stays didn't offer anything more. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I loved the design of the... More

Located across the street from a wonderful park, the is a great value hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are fabulous and we picked it because the front desk spoke English. The whole tea thing is great as we visited the Tea Museum so we were more appreciative of the process.

Stayed for a Saturday night only so no complaints about the hotel which is modern, clean and with friendly staff. The restaurant attached next door is also pretty good. Our problem was not with the hotel but with the weekend traffic! We wanted to see the museums, tea plantations and of course west lake but getting around - although cheep... More

First, make sure you have the hotel name and address written in Chinese before you go. Taxi drivers had difficulty because the Chinese name of the hotel is nothing like "Tea Boutique". I am sure the hotel will be happy to provide this upon request. It is a beautiful and quiet hotel. The noise from the busy bar never penetrated... More

Great atmosphere throughout the entire hotel. Fits the true definition of a boutique hotel. Only 3 floors with nice big restaurant, spa and bar on ground floor, rooms on 2nd and 3rd. Staff were really nice and helpful. No problem with English. Fiona was especially helpful and always smiling. Restaurant is excellent- decor and food. Had bfast, lunch and dinner... More

Loved this place, the free coffee on the second floor, the friendly staff. The location is good (a short taxi ride to the lake) and the room is pleasant and quiet. It's right next to a night club (non smoking) that has really fun salsa dancing on Saturday night. I'd come here again for a Hangzhou weekend getaway where I'm... More

This is a great choice for Hangzhou. It's on a busy road, but set back and we had no noise issues at all. An oasis of calm with lots of natural wood and our room had a lovely corner to sit in with complimentary apples, plus tea making facilities (but the cups were typical Chinese size, minute, could do with...
