booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Check in was a breeze, very efficient and polite. Rooms were very clean with a great bathroom and toiletries. The concierge arranged great tickets, at a reduced price, to see the show Dynamic Yunnan. The seats were 5 rows from the stage and normally went fir 360 RMB per ticket. We got a price... More

The room was clean and the location of the hotel is not to bad - it's actually pretty good for when arriving by train. Unfortunately the staff speaks no English beside 5 to 10 standard sentences. The pool and the gym were horrible - especially the pool and it's surroundings. Half of the amenities were broken. And in the toilet... More

We would like to thank Assistant Manager Catherine Zhou for her amazing help with our questions about kunming during our stay here. The hotel staff arranged a day trip with a local taxi woman for 700kwai to stone forest, and then golden temple and back to our hotel. The hotel itself is great! Nice lobby area, good looking pool (so... More

Checked in at this kunming hotel for two nights. Getting to the hotel from Airport was pretty easy (airport shuttle no: 2, get off at the last stop - kunming railway station - take taxi or just walk if you traveling light). This use to be the Westin Kunming, though Westin left after a year of operation, but the 5... More

Caring staff, lovely rooms, good food, great location for seeing the city. Walk to indoor/outdoor bazaar. Beautiful mountain views. Management, front desk staff, business staff all went out of their way to help us when our daughter lost her passport.

The hotel seems to promise a lot with the marble, glass, and soaring ceiling of the lobby, but the watered-down, over-priced drinks at the bar, the aching air-conditioning, wavering wi-fi and worn carpets tell the true story. This place is getting by, more or less, and little money is going into routine maintenance. The pool is grimy, and swim at... More

Great location, 15 years old, mostly well maintained (pool has seen better days), rooms are very well appointed, so was very happy overall, with the exception of poor wifi that dropped out constantly and was slow when you could get online. Candy, the guest relations manager, was excellent, booked some train tickets for us and changed our room (twin to... More

the location is in the heart of the Kunming city, walking distance to street food and many touristic shops. the rooms are comfortable, clean, and if you stay at a high floor (30+) you have a breathtaking view of the city especially at night. breakfast buffet where a western traveler will find a lot to eat.

This is one of the most prestigious 5 star hotels in Kunming. Any taxi driver will know how to drive there. Good location and good place. Most of the staff can speak some English. Near to the Railway station and the bus from New air port stop very closer to this Hotel. So, no need to get a taxi. Just... More

Stayed at this hotel room are ok...a deluxe room but compare tother hotel for this deluxe room type the size is considered small...more over the drive is too congested too many park cars and drop off becomes very rush due to vehicles awaiting behind...to make it feel more congested there is a huge construction of the World Trade Centre going...
