Upon our return from Lijiang ...our guide recommended this hotel. It is located near a big shopping centre and close to the Jinma Biji Square. The Bird & Flower market is only 10 mins walk away. The rooms are comfortable and clean too. Good wifi connections and multi-channels TV. The morning breakfast is basic ... bacon & eggs , Chinese... More

We booked this hotel due to its location. It is just right opposite a shopping mall and approx 15 mins walk to Carrefour shopping area, Parkson and shopping street. The hotel room is generally fine in the exception of aircond working on timing e.g no airconditioning supply after 12midnight. We stayed 4 nights and we were struggling the 2nd time... More

The staff speaks very little english, and they cannot even call a taxi at 6am. You need too push very hard, otherwise you are ignored. The hotel seems to be specialized on chinese tours. Everything apart from their routine (above all in simple english)! is just too much! At a room rate of 880RMB (single room) ,promotion 600RMB, I expect... More

As others have pointed out, this hotel is near to the shopping area and Jinma Biji Square, about 10 mins walk. The hotel itself was alright, but it caters for China tour group, and during breakfast hour (6:30am - 7:15am), it will like in the war zone. People were fighting for seats and foods. Our tour guide asked us to... More

I've stayed in this hotel at least 5 times over the years. The hotel is pretty average for a tourist hotel in China - cleanish rooms, fancy lobby, par for the course breakfast. The beds are especially hard, more so than the average Chinese hotel. There is also no Internet of any kind in the hotel and no refrigerator in... More

Stayed at this hotel when in Kunming recently. It was well located and close to the major shopping areas of Kunming like Wangfujing and Kunming Old Street. Also, close to a traditional and well-known restaurant serving authentic and delicious Yunnan food. It is in an old refurbished double-storey house and the ambience is just great! Unfortunately, the namecard I took... More

I booked this hotel online and got a reasonable rate. I chose this hotel because it is close to the main shopping area (Wangfujing etc.). Make sure you avoid their travel desk as it seems like a complete scam. The price they quoted me for a private car, with a driver and a tour guide, visiting Stone Forest and Jiu... More

Stayed one night en route to Dali. Thought it was closer to airport (about 45 mins) but worked fine. Checked in at 7pm and the front desk asked the restaurant to stay open 'late' especially for us which was very kind of them. The normal hard beds and brash decor but clean and friendly staff.

We stayed in this hotel last February, and while the food was not quite recommended as well as their facilities, but we have so many good memories there thanks to the staff. My brother was sick during our stay in Kunming and the hotel manager took great length to help him, including send him a flower arrangement, offering to take... More

I stayed in this hotel on 12 JUNE 2011. While the hotel location, environment and services are generally decent. Their travel help desk gave me the most lousy service I had ever experienced in my life. On 13 JUNE 2011, after checking out, my family I engaged the travel desk (located at the hotel lobby) to help to arrange a... More
