I stayed in this hotel for two nights during the summer period. Good location, near to a big shopping mall and also a shopping street. The shower is good and they even have a temp control standing shower unit. The room is spacious and clean. Good breakfast spread...there is a decent omelette counter. Please beware that the air con is... More

I've seen a few reviews that said this is a 'Chinese hotel'. Well, thats correct. Based in Yunnan, China, this hotel is exactly what I was looking for. Kunming and Yunnan are lesser developed parts of China and with that in mind this is a great hotel. It had everything I expected and was very clean, staff were helpful and... More

In itself a nIce property in the centre. Very Chinese and we have not discovered anyone who spoke English during our visit other than a few basic words at reception. Typical Chinese lobby, fair size but not inspriring, with a lobby lounge/ bar. The lobby is on the ground floor and the rooms on floors 9 and above. Rooms good,... More

Comfortable rooms & location is excellent - take a nice stroll to nearby shops & eating spots. Staff friendly and make it a point to try to help you - get a map, show you restaurants. It's a bit off the main roads making getting a taxi quite difficult - the hotel staff tried to hail one for us but... More

I usually wait till I complete my stay to write a review but I am so disappointed this time. The service is so POOR! When I arrived, there was not a queue at the check in counter. There was a crowd of people surrounding the reception and no staff even tried to manage the people. I was too polite in... More

This hotel deserves a 5 star rating & I highly recommend it. The rooms are spaceous, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and speak enough English to help tourists. Location is central to pedestian street and shopping. My only suggestion is that you book a car/driver independenly as this is a bit expensive if reserved via the hotel. B-fast... More

We stayed for 3 nights, and when we checked in we found the room to be dirty and one of our key-cards did not work. Our room was on the 12th floor and overlooking another building, so don't expect any fantastic view. It is noisy even though we were on the 12th floor, especially at night, with very loud voices... Stayed here over a transit and cannot find any fault with the location vs size vs price thus a very good rating. Hotel location - set in the midst of the city and surrounded by shopping malls, shopping and restaurants are a spoilt for choice - surely one can find any wants and hunger fulfilled within 5 minutes' walk.
