This is a good little hostel in a convinient location in Xi'an ie right next to the south gate of the city walls. There is a great little kitchen/lounge area where you can chill out on sofas and use the free wifi and computers.
They don't sell food or drinks but this is fine as there are supermarkets nearby and...

We visited Xi'an after just over a weeks touring in western China. This was the best hotel we stayed in, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and functional and the location is very central for sightseeing in Xi'an.

Firstly this was a decent hostel.
Its position near the south gate is really good for seeing the city walls, drum and bell tower and going into the muslim quarter generally.
it was clean and relatively warm despite the sub zero temperatures.

We arrived in Xi'an to swarms of people at the Xi'an train station.
We had no idea how we were going to find our hostel - luckily someone from Ancient Street hostel was waiting for us holding up a sign when we arrived. lovely suprise!
They guided us onto a public bus and in 30minutes we were at the hostel....
