Good hotel, good location and decent Rooms more

Here it is April and my room is 85 degrees with no air conditioning. It won't be turned on till May. No fans, lots of ice. If it weren't for this, the hotel would be five star. We stayed here on a group tour of China. We arrived the day of the earthquake (May 12, 2008). The employees had just been allowed to re-enter the building about five minutes before we arrived (that's what the tour guide said anyway). We went to Xi'an to see the terracotta Army and the other sights. The Jinshi was an excellent base for all that we wanted to do.The room , food, bar etc. all very good indeed. more

I was on a Chinaspree tour and stayed at this hotel. The lobby is spectacular and the rooms very spacious. The breakfast was good. I didn't notice any smell. The ladies in the business center were very helpful even though they didn't speak English. We didn't wander around the area since we were taken everywhere on the tour. more
